The writers choose Violence ugly crying every time 😭

It was shurely a very sad episode. But with a title like: Make Our Days Count, you could expect that the ending wouldn't be a very happy one. It's one you have to let sink in and recover from. Btw, Sun Bo from this series plays also a little role in the new HIStory 4 series: Close To You (also a good series to watch), were he has more hair now wich makes him look quite handsome....

Just me over here bawling through this like I do every time😭. If you look back at the previous episodes there are little hints here and there about Yu Shigu almost getting hit by a car and then that is ultimately what happened. Also the your friend who was played by the same actor is just someone who reminds Haoting of Shigu so he takes care of him.

I recall being bummed out for a whole day after watching this episode the first time. I was so oblivious to the depth of the title of this story. I was shedding buckets in this viewing and while I knew the grim details, the grief suffered by Hao Ting was just so hard to witness. I'm really impressed with Wayne Song's portrayal of Hao Ting from playful school boy to serious doctoral student. It was good to see the softening of the parents, the care in their eyes knowing Hao Ting had just buried himself in school (for years) ... but Dad was still "Dad" so getting on with life, married and making them grand parents was still do-able to him. Sun Bo and Zhi Gang were able to show the challenge of couple-hood as time goes on. I would want the French Bulldog too! It was so cool they found acceptance finally by Zhi Gang's family. THANK HEAVENS all BLs don't follow this "reality bites" kind of outline. MODC does stand out for breaking the more common approach. From an LGBTQ standpoint there's already enough to worry about in day to day life, so the fairytale stories really are a refuge to escape to sometimes. Thank you Jeevan for watching this series with us. I think HIStory 3: Trapped will be a welcome change of venue.
