There are potential spoilers in this post, depending on how religious you are about it. I don't really think there are - what's going to happen next is fairly obvious - but I figured I'd write a nice long thing here to give people a heads up and enough time to exit out if they don't want even a sniff of a spoiler.

I feel radiance is more in sync with constellation but also Night asked her to pick the ranger related class so i feel like is gonna be simple fire?

[Radiance]. [Laser Beam] can punch through armour, defensive skills and no dodging by speedsters! As for AOE, at high-levels, she can cast a [Micro-Fusion Star].

We need to remember,that she wants to be able to fly with her magic. I can see an argument for something like magical metal provided she can control it and make herself fly by controlling her armour. Maby she got sick of a purely offensive class and goes more in the direction of a Tankhealer

Personally, Radiance is boring, even if its the current Top. It overlaps to much with her Healer Class. Same for Pyronox. And Inferno, while an "upgrade" doesn't add much either. STORM on the other Hand, has a lot of potential, more so since its considered Rare, and is heavily suggested to be more than just rain and lightning. It has the Potential to synergize with her Healer Class, without Overlapping. Another option would be Ash. It could be a nice contradiction to her Healer Class, while at the same time offering some kind of synergy.

I'd pick storm, if only to prove wrong the guy that badmouthed it a few chapters ago. She'll probably pick Radiance though...

Storm. She’s been explicitly warned against it, which is always a good sign. Could give her cool flight skills which she wouldn’t be able to resist. Plus Storm was always the coolest X-woman.

If she is looking for something to merge into her healing class she should go for steam or radiance. Steam because it gives more versatility or radiance because it matches thematically.

Betting on wind. I still think optimal class for her mage side is mist. She wants to fly and currently has a movement skill working towards that. Going ranger mage-wind has the highest possibility of providing flight of all the options.

I was originally going to say radiance, but then I thought Wind would give her thrust so she could fly like ironman. While earth would give her ironman armor.

What I like about Storm is that Night said he'd kill her if she chose it. So now it would be cool if there was some urgent reason she has to pick it lol

I cannot imagine anything other then Storm or Radiance. Storm if she decides to go against everyone's advice and wants to fly. Radiance would likely add oofph to her attacks and give her distance healing or AoE abilities. Considering how she passed on helping out for the genocide of the literal army of death that threatens humanity (really? It was that hard to stomach?), I think she'll go Radiance. Pyronox could be an outlier, maybe it would synergize with the ''Moon'' aspect of her first class and it would be thematically correct with the novel's title, no?

Celestial Metal of some sort? It would be an interesting tie in with the odd book with magic metals she found and kind feel like it relates to fire a bit.

If you are going for flying it best would be Ash, Magic metal (gold?), Storm, maybe Radiance. I think some sort of golden metal for the gold crow or rangers eagle and a Phoenix for Ash or Thunderbird for storm or Sun and moon for radiance.

So side jumping to another element would be pointless at this stage and if it was going to be done it would have been done at lvl32 to fix the hasty, and probably bad, selection of fire-bug before it turned into pyromancer. Now lets look at the advance versions of fire. Fire + Fire = inferno: more damage is cool but Elaine dealing more damage is a far below back up plan just before running away entirely so this is low priority. Fire + Metal = magic metal: would require her to actually be around a specific magic metal a lot so just not possible. Fire + Wind = storm: If anyone has the magic power to actually make storm useful it would be Elaine with her busted +1000% from [Oath] and it should let her fly. While good choice on paper, just like inferno her purpose isn't to do wide scale dmg so its overall a waste. Fire + Light = radiance: Super hot, super bright, and possibly super fast is exactly what she would need. Potential for more focused damage dealing like she did with turning her fire into death beams against the goblins but better. A supportive selection here could provide buffs/healing to all within her light or linger with her flames and an offensive would deal damage in the same area instead. Rapidash should evolve into a faster version, hopefully straight up teleportation. Overall good choice and most likely choice. Fire + Water = steam: Better AoE dmg and good in long fights at the cost of doing basically nothing against non-organic opponents. Overall bland at best and a detriment at worst. Fire + Wood = ash: Can do damage but worse than inferno, can do AoE but worse than steam/storm, can do good in long fights but more situational than steam. Only think it really tops at should be staying power in using destroyed wood from conjuration/environment as power but Elaine is already a healer with a stupid high mana capacity so we win those fights anyway. Overall does nothing particularly well except in the one thing we already beat everyone even remotely near our level in already. Fire + Earth = lava: When fire is inefficient for mana usage and has poor stopping power why not make fire that just doesn't stop burning and has literal stopping power? Mixing in earth gives us potential for better shields in addition to [Veil] while increasing our offensive potential with physical damage in addition to fire damage. Downside is flight is basically not going to happen with this combo unless she stands on some floating volcanic rock or something. Fire + Dark = pyronox: Cleansing flames for a ranger is good utility but does nothing that the main class can't already do. Immediate damage is likely reduced in exchange for increased DoT based damage and potential cursing/debuffing. If we want to function less as a damaging class and more as a control support this is the way to go. Also maybe can get around [Oath] in most cases by debilitating opponents into submission to avoid them from getting killed by her teammates instead. Overall the only potential options are pyronox for control, radiance for flexibility and support, and lava for defense with my prediction being for radiance. PRAISE THE SUN!!!

Radiance and Pyronox seem a bit like a cop-out since she already has those base elements, but I've gotten a bit behind and am now at ch99, so I may be missing context.

So I understand why some people have been guessing that the new class might be related to the golden crow but i was thinking more along the line of the phoenix. Unlike the golden crow it is associated with healing aka its ability to be reborn from ashes. Only thing is that I don't know what element it would be. Perhaps like the metal element have numerous variation one of the other elements that fit like inferno or fire would have a nirvanic flames variation, perhaps even a it could even be a triple element combanation, Fire, light and dark.
