"Born in salt and smoke; Is he a ham?" That line will always be funny to me. Rently isn't in my top favorites, but he has a wit about him. I love how Tywin roasts his own men for their incompetence. He was also quick to know that Arya was a girl, but was actually offering her a kindness by making her his cup bearer; she won't have to reside in the pin anymore. Of course if he finds out who she is, then she would be in dire straits. Tyrion just made Lancel his bitch with how he talked XD Tyrion is simply the best lmao

Tywin is a ruthless guy, but he's smart. Why torture and kill people when they could be working, why waste talent (skill in blacksmithing or a sharp mind) when they could be put to use. If he does cruel things it's because it serves his purposes, not just because he thinks it's fun (like Joffery). He's actually a popular character due to the fact that he's an antagonist who actually does things in an intelligent way for the most part. Granted, he obviously has his flaws, such as underestimating Rob Stark's military capacity earlier in the series.

Tywin is arguably my favorite character. I love how he commands every scene he is in, despite that he says and does so many terrible things. I've also pondered what he would be like if his wife were still alive. I mean her death is what turned him into the stone cold man he is, but I still ponder

Yeah the irony of Arya being the cupbearer of the head Lannister is not lost on me. It becomes a very interesting dynamic in the season.
