This is the first episode where they have the official animation for the opening, I believe it wasn't ready for the first two episodes, but I'm not sure about that. I just don't know the opening in eps 1 and 2 only used clips from the episode to compensate for the lack of animation.

My FAVOURITE part of the discussion was the part at the very end when you talked about the talk between between Smile and Koizumi's wife, so heartwarming omg. Just thinking about the incoming greatness has me smiling like a goon, I can't wait!!! <3

“Talent isn’t granted only to those who want it” a sad truth that goes unnoticed. Btw the reason smile stands so far back is because he’s a defensive player so he chops at the ball which makes the ball slow giving him time to recover as he patiently waits for his opponents to make a mistake or an opening for counterattack. While offensive players like peco like playing near the table for a quick back n forth rally. I dunno too much about table tennis sooo I might be completely wrong hahaha
