about the speed thing, Hawk's coach did say that Takamura doesn't have the experience being in japan and Hawk is USED to that speed, being in the U.S. with bigger competition

Even if this is Hawk's first defense, he's been fighting his entire career some of the strongest junior middleweight boxers in the world, undefeated, until he became the world champion. Meanwhile this is Takamura's first time fighting in junior middleweight, also his first time fighting someone comparable to himself. So obviously Hawk has the experience advantage. Add to that the fact that Takamura never even had any sparing partners in middleweight or junior middleweight, because in heavier weight classes sparring partners of his caliber are virtually non existent in japan, things as an american Hawk didn't have to deal with.
