i get where you guys are coming from, and it was a common complaint among people when this was airing. but as an LN reader, they are honestly even leaving out information but everything that you are being given is very relevant information for both the rest of the season, and the seasons to come. they are being extremely faithful to the source material here, to a fault in some peoples eyes. this meeting was nearly an entire volume of the novel by itself.

lol while I think the dialogues could use work, the context is always important in worldbuilding. The way power creeps in this series, you can't really not establish the next threats.

yep. there is always the argument that they could have at least changed settings for the talks so that it felt fresh while they continue to discuss, but i guess this is one aspect where i do as a reader appreciate the level of faithfulness to the source.

I can understand the feeling, part of it is a pacing and flow ... that the anime has a bit of an issue here ... part of it is that this kind of exposition works better in written form of the novel or in the manga since it comes in smaller chunks there ... and in both cases its accompanied with some activity as in you clicking / scrolling / turning the page to continue and not just passively taking it in. When it comes to the pacing ... as I mentioned last episode I think the reveal of Yuuki as an antagonist should have been moved to this episode ... The Idea is to basically get as much as possible from the conference done in one episode, and then focus a while on the clown plot instead with the added payoff to the small who is the leak mystery ... Also would have Ramiris arrive at the end of this episode instead ... or in the middle for some comedy at the end with her fainting after seeing Veldora ... Not a writer so not saying this is the best way but I do think it would give a different feel to just talking ... In addition even outside of the changes I propose, there are small repeat scenes that add to the drag out feeling ... For example they repeat the whole scene with Ramiris plastered on the glass that already happened in last episode The other leaders looking suspiciously at Youm already happened last episode as we I do think with the previous, this and the next episode, you could rewrite things to present the same information in a more concise manner that would flow better
