Not a bad car, but why did your team decide to render out all the wired meshes in full 3d? It considerably inflates the tri-count to over a million; the front grille mesh being far and away the worst offender.

Because we were newbs back then. The Mercedes Streamliner had so many issues we've gone back to the beginning. The Mercedes W25, the 1906 Renault, and the two Italas also all need revised 3d models which will happen in the near future. Meanwhile the first car with a final 3d model will be the 1915 Ford Model T Speedster. I have a couple very talented 3d modelers on the CSS team, but they come from a background of Unity and Unreal as opposed to an older AC graphics engine. I'm not an 3d expert, I just know the basics, so it's taken awhile for us all to figure out what's possible while optimizing performance within AC. But don't worry, as I just said, we plan to revisit the Renault and get it's poly count under 350k, while also adding some more details.
