THIS EPISODE WAS SO WILD OMG!!! I’m still like wow, this was a great episode to open up the new season! BANGEL, BAD ASS BUFFY, MY SMOL WILLOW, SAVAGE XANDER, ADORABLE GILES, AND BEWILDERED CORDELIA!!! Lol I'm in for a ride I see.

Awesome reaction :). I love how they actually addressed and tackled Buffy’s PTSD here… a lot of shows might have brushed over it and had everything just go back to normal, but I think Buffy really needed to face her trauma so that she could move on. I love the Cibo Matto song playing when Buffy dances with Xander, but that dance is so awkward to watch! Not sure if you’re aware, but the guitarist playing with the band on stage was Sean Lennon (John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s son). Another fun fact: in Buffy’s dream when Giles tries to choke her and it turns out to be the Master, they couldn’t actually get the actor who played the Master back for the episode, so instead, they put David Boreanaz in the Master’s make up for that scene.

OMG really!! It looked just like the master. That’s some good makeup work!! And most definitely, I’m glad they actually handled her trauma in a way to where we could understand her pov and how she feels. I was wondering if they would fly over it, however they didn’t and I’m very glad. Also I kept looking at Sean but it was not clicking LOL. And the song was AMAZING, even though that dance scene got me cringy lol.
