Should I watch the Buffy movie live or record it? I'll be doing so next week after I move back on campus.

Hey Najae, So I voted for watching it live I think that would be a lot of fun although God only knows if I'll be able to join you for it. With my schedule is more likely that I won't be able to and I'll have to watch it later after the fact but maybe I'll get lucky. It would definitely be fun to watch your reaction in real time maybe we could even set up a chat or something. Normally I would suggest to someone who hasn't seen the movie already that they read the comic first because it is far closer to Joss's vision for what Buffy is supposed to be than the movie. You probably already know this but the director and the producer changed the tone of the movie completely and it came out way more campy and silly then Joss would have wanted. Then after you've read the comic you can watch the movie for Laughs as much as anything. Your situation is different however since you're going to be reacting to it whether it's live or not it would kind of be nice to have you not I know exactly what's going to happen there. Assuming you do go that route just make sure to give the comic a read afterwards just so you get a better sense of what Josh was trying to do although I warn you the visual depiction of mpires in the comic version is oddly stylized. This gets better as the comics progress. Keep in mind this was one of the first Buffy comics that was produced and so they didn't quite have their depiction of vampires down as they do in later runs.
