Do you think Elijah made the right choice in killing Marcel regardless of the fact that Marcel had taken the serum? Could Klaus have talked Marcel down?

Do you believe the events of the season would’ve turned out differently had the Mikaelsons been unaware of the prophecy? Elijah’s distrust of Marcel from the start of the season created some animosity there, and now, his visions of the prophecy led to him killing Marcel – would he have done all that if he didn’t know there was an existential threat?

I love Marcel's speech, what did you think of it? Because he is right in that if he was family, they would let him be their equal. I love that it was a self-fulfilling prophecy. Because Elijah, Klaus and the others treated Marcel like shit all season when he was helping them and then they sacrificed Davina and then killed Marcel himself. Do you think without those actions that Marcel would have never become the beast and he wouldn't want revenge in the first place. And could Marcel have been talked down by Klaus had Elijah not turned up? I also hate Hayley's reaction of instantly expecting Klaus to forgive Elijah. Marcel was a friend to her and helped her so many times and she dismissed his relationship with Klaus as a son so easily and then sleeps with Elijah right after he killed Marcel. The family have all threatened to hurt and kill each other but other than Finn none of them have ever done it, so the fact that Elijah killed Marcel without a second thought at his angry threat is awful and shows to me that he stopped seeing him as family long ago.
