The Doctor John episode was wild. That poor woman, so grateful she had the strength and means to persevere and keep pushing for DNA, a PI, and then recording the test. Imagine how many cases like this just never get pursued appropriately by law enforcement. Is my understanding correct that he got sent back to his home country and is living freely? Makes me sick.

Kathleen Marshall's story is so wild with the Cat Protection Society and palm readers. How did you guys go about writing the story and keeping all the facts straight? With Dr. John, DNA was in its infancy but do you think he could have gotten away with his crimes for so long if DNA was further along? Would someone have detected the bad sample sooner?

absolutely loved the blackout killers episodes! whoever came up with the idea of a two part ep about similar perpetrators had it right, who was it? :D would you guys consider a similar approach in the future? for example a five part ep on white collar crime or school shootings?

I bought the book five drops of blood after your Kathleen Marshall episode, did you refer to it much ? The crime scene description was very detailed and the DNA bungling was so amateur given Australia pioneering many DNA advances. It baffles me that in so many cases the detectives cannot see what is right in front of them and don’t follow up obvious leads 🤷‍♀️

The Kathleen Marshall episode is the first time I think I've ever heard you guys use as a source a book that hasn't been published yet? How did that come about? How did you find out about the book, did the author approach you about the case? Did you guys do any vetting of the book's case info to any degree?

More generally I have some Australia questions for you guys. Has doing so many cases in Australia made you guys think differently about a particular region or city that you had mostly little to no real knowledge of before? Which ones? I also really want to know if everyone in the country back in the 80s really drove a Holden Caulfield (a car I'd never heard of before Casefile) or if it just seems that way because they seem to pop up in every single case!

I was absolutely fascinated (and equally disgusted) by Dr. John’s use of the tube in his vein. I would to hear more about that. And crazy that he had to do that multiple times!

I always enjoy the historical episodes the team does like the ones done on the blackout killers. Does the team enjoy doing episodes on older cases or modern ones? And was Casey involved in the creative process of this episode? I know he has mentioned that he enjoys history before.
