Love the thumbnail! 😅

Just the time it took alone, to have taken that picture while in that pose, would have had me sweating, ha ha. Sign me up for The First Annual PiB Slopitch Tourney!

Next time you're in Anaheim during baseball season, let's see if the Angels will invite you to stand on the mound Cassie and throw the first ball⚾♡

Congratulations on catching Harrison Ford so early on in the movie it took me half the movie to realize it was him. With all the movies, he’s done, I’m a Star Wars buff, I love Indiana Jones, I love all the Jack Ryan movies, he did, he even played the president in one movie, but this is one of my favorite roles of his because I’m a baseball fan. I love my baseball. Thank you for reacting to this movie with us. I listen to sports talk radio, and when this movie came out, there was a big conversation about the language and lots of fathers would call in and say that they sat their children down and had a long conversation about the words they were going to hear, and what those words meant And how wrong it was to use that terminology to anybody. It was a big thing, and a big deal. It made me happy that these fathers took it so seriously to speak to their children about it before they went to the movie. Anyway, as I said before, I love your reaction, can’t wait for the next one. If you’ve never seen hidden figures before, or 12 years, a slave, or the help, those are all very good movies. Thank you.

I bet Cassie never thought she'd hear a hateful word come out of Wash's mouth.

I remember a teacher of mine read us a book about Jackie Robinson when I was in the 3rd Grade. The story of 42 takes place in 1947. Segregation had ended in the Armed Forces, partly due to manpower shortages brought on by the Battle of the Bulge. Prior to that Black Men served either in segregated Combat Units or in Support Units (Truck Driver and Medical Orderly were common roles played by Black Men in WW2). They returned home to a country that was still largely segregated. Not just in the South, it wasn't uncommon to see Whites Only Bathrooms and Water Fountains as far North as New York. It wasn't until 1964 when Lyndon B. Johns signed the Civil Rights Act into law. That Segregation was finally made illegal in the United States.

The new poll is up on her YouTube guys.

Dearest, most precious Cassie, I simply can not let the opportunity to remind you that the actor, Lucas Black, who plays “Pee Wee” also happens to play QB Mike Billingsley in that wonderful, also true story, also sports movie that, if memory serves, you and Carly have proper viewing attire for, ‘Friday Night Lights.’ I’m just saying.

Rhett Merchant

Cassie, did you recognize Alan Tudyk (Wash) from Firefly playing Chapman, the manager of Philadelphia?

Jacob Colson

And he's the boy in Sling Blade. And he's in an underrated gem called Seven Days in Utopia!

Lamar Smith

He appears in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise, as well, but I’d really like Cassie to watch ‘Friday Night Lights.’

Joseph Rardin

I shed tears as I watch that movie every single time. Jackie Robinson was a great American. He helped make America live up to its ideals and it's Declaration of Independence.

Cole Jennett

He was also in a Kevin Costner and Elijah Wood movie called “The War”.

Cassie in that catcher's squat... I'm imagining you pep talking your pitcher like Robert Wuhl in Bull Durham. "C'monbabe! Yougotembabe! 1,2,3!!"

zynjams

that peewee Reese friendship was real

Check out "All the right moves" another early Tom Cruise movie also starring Lea Thompson. Tom is a High School Football star trying to earn a college scholarship. "TAPS" is another suspense thriller with a young Tom Cruise, Sean Penn, and Timothy Hutton. "The Best of Times" is another good sports/rom-com flick starring the late great Robin Williams and Kurt Russell.
