A lot of good character work was done in this season. Which is unfortunate because a lot folks from the narrative team recently got let go by Bungie. In the next season, Season of the Plunder, the story kinda goes down in quality, IMO. There is some drama there but not that interesting except the end part. The season after Plunder, Season of the Seraph, is one of the best seasons in Destiny; definitely my top 3.

Took a bit of a break to finally catch up on all your destiny reactions for the last few seasons, really excited to see the next few especially with the small hint from Eris's message that Drifter will be coming back for this next one along with our favorite Kell. I'd also recommend between the next season Plunder and Seraph, the one following, that you check out Meromorphic's audio reading of the Journals of Clovis Bray since it provides a lot of background for the characters focused in Seraph and really enhances the narrative.
