Yeah, I'm old enough to remember the times when games allowed people to create their own servers and to not depend on the whims of a game publisher/developer. Hell, you could even play multiplayer games alone and without internet using bots. Those were good times.

I havent payed it myself, but thats mostly due to a lack of real friends to play with and Im not a big fan of matchmaking stuff in general
