This was intended to have a guest spot by the Brig, allowing him to meet the Tenth Doctor. Sadly, Nicholas Courtney suffered a stroke and had to be dropped, and died shortly afterward with his one prior appearance in Enemy of the Bane being his sole appearance in the new Who era.

"No one is ever going to forget you" so soon after everything with Donna.. I love that ending scene in the TARDIS so much. The Doctor and Sarah Jane saying a little quiet goodbye is just perfect
