So many jaw dropping moments!! The finale 15 minutes were riveting and beautiful. This was a wonderful farewell to the 10th doctor and while I still don’t feel ready to move on, after this I think I’ll be able to.

Will watch later, but I have been waiting to say -- there have been wonderful companions in the past and there will be wonderful companions in the future, but Wilfred Mott is #1 for me. Greatest Doctor/Companion pairing of all time. Also "Get out of the way." and then "Get out of the way." Is iconic. Tennant and Simm are terrific.

This ending was mostly pretty well loved, especially the twist to the meaning of the four knocks. But it does get mocked to this day for just how emotional the Doctor gets over his regeneration, which not a single other one before or since has ever done. People even act like "I don't want to go" was his catchphrase the whole time. The really weird thing is that a couple later retcons caused it to make a lot more sense, but that still doesn't help much since RTD obviously didn't have anything like what they reveal in mind here. Of course, the real reason for all this was that he was leaving the show himself and staged the whole thing as his own farewell party, playing off all the greatest hits of his time with the franchise. In fact, he had nothing to do with the final scene of us meeting Eleven, leaving it entirely in the hands of new show runner Stephen Moffat to do whatever he wanted with.

loved the reaction! you mentioned the shot with the doctor Infront of the graveyard well there is actually 10 gravestones that can be seen. also I'm so glad you loved the song at the end, probably my favourite from Murray Gold its called vale decum (translating to farewell ten) and my brothers favourite fact that always brings up is that they sing vale 10 times when he's in the Tardis

Cannot believe we've reached the end of the RTD era. Have loved watching your reactions (and will continue to do so I'm sure) but those four seasons have such special places in my memory. Considering it was a change of Doctor, change of head writer and a huge change of many other behind the scenes roles, it felt fitting to have a real proper send of for this era of Who having all previous companions have their moments. Am incredibly excited to carry on into series 5!! (Side note. Not a spoiler as never mentioned again): with the mystery woman who turns out to be a Time Lady in this episode, RTD told the actress to very much play her as the Doctor's mother and that's totally the vibes I got when Tenant spotted her. Just another layer of emotional trauma to add to the pile lol

Waited to watch Part 1 and 2 in one session. The end always has me in tears. Great Reaction as always!

Love this episode/two parter so much!!! So many great lines but one of my favourites is “that guard is one inch too tall” literal chills every time! Can’t wait for next week and to begin season five Matt smith is amazing in the role in my opinion and Steven Moffat does a great job

Wilfred is so precious 🥹🥹🥰🥰

Glad this era is over, the character quality and writing dramatically improves from here on in, I struggle with the last section of this episode, it's way to overindulgent for its own good and drags on.

If you have to lay down your life for someone, Wilfred is a good choice!

So I know you've seen Torchwood Children of Earth, Martha and Mickey were supposed to be featured in that, but Freema had a conflict. I think this was meant to be the setup for that. I'm really excited to see how to react to Smiths era. I've enjoyed your journey so far and any change in Doctor is an interesting change in dynamic.

While i agree thats what they said, to me, it always seemed they inferred it was the Doctor/Donna. :-)

Agreed, I loved this sendoff. A bit heavy-handed, or self-indulgent MAYBE, but it really felt like the end of an Era. It was an event and I am so glad to have experienced it.

I finally feel ready to watch the next one! I feel like I had to get this released before I could let go or something like that lol

After watching this episode a second time, despite all the great Wilf moments, I think my best feel good moment is The Doctor going back to see Rose just before they had both met. Well played scene.

Love this finale for 10 this why Doctor who is so amazing the ever evolving nature of the show. The different eras. Regeneration beung introduced was what sealed this shows future.

I always cry when watching the ending. I think it’s the Mixture of the music and losing a favourite incarnation of the Doctor. It gets me every time

Dingus Ex Machina

Russel T. Davies' well-earned victory lap. Phenomenal finale.
