Everything really did just change with this episode! I am in shock that this was almost the series finale. 😭 All the storylines of the season came together here in a spectacular way!

Remember in Delta-V when Melba and Ren were working together? She was putting a buffer and Ren told her if she put it the wrong way it would cause the ship to shut down? That is what she did here to power down the ship. She flipped the buffer around.

Wow, glad you didn't take too long to watch this episode! Yes, Melba aka Clarissa redeemed herself and essentially saved the entire human race! (She finally outshone her sister who, after all, only managed to save Earth!). As part of the fandom that saved The Expanse I am so glad you have another 3 seasons to watch, and I hope against hope we get the last three books put on TV someday down the road. Just a quick note about Bobbie and her Marines: she did her best to save them, again, by shouting "Stand Down!" when Amos started firing and then of course having a knock down fight with her female marine. One of the writers of TE, Ty Franck, likes to remind us that while Bobbie usually wins most fights quickly, she had a harder time this time because she was well matched. It took me MANY viewings to understand that her fellow Marine shot her as she went down. Anyhow, the moment she yells "Clear", you can see the disappointment on her face as she knows, that again, she has just removed her self from the Martian Marine corps. Great acting by Frankie Adams!

I love Bobbie so much and I'm excited to go into the next story. I HOPE all the people we saw on the Roci at the end are still there, but I'm sure whatever story they tell next will be phenomenal.

We'll get more Expanse at some point. Way too many people in the top end of The Expanse have dropped massive hints/winks about the future of the series for there not to be more. This includes from Alcon Entertainment, Naren Shankar, and the man, the myth, That Guy, Wes Chatham. We just gotta wait for Amazons lease on the rights to expire and then they can shop for another company to finance the production.
