The heart breaking finale has arrived!! They took the story in a much different direction than I expected, which by now I really should have expected.

This series has been excellent, a fantastically engineered metaphor for grief and illnesses such as dementia and alzheimers. Forgetting, especially oneself and one's loved ones and memories, is a terrifying prospect. Deftly handled by everyone in the show

I'm so happy! this was such an amazing reaction to an incredible series. it doesn't matter how many times I watch the ending of this show, I always get chills and tear up when Sheryl Crow starts playing, and we finally see everyone through Jamie's eyes. and that final shot of Dani's hand resting on Jamie's shoulder?! perfection. every. single. time. I'm so excited for Midnight Mass! it's another incredible series by Mike Flanagan that's so different from the other two. I hope Flanagan never stops making series and movies; he's too good at it.

lol that Sherly Crow song is the first time I had copyright trouble with a Flanaverse show! No biggie, the youtube version is just slightly different. It was really appropriate for the moment though! All of those moments at the end really hit hard, it was well done! Once I knew it was Jamie I could totally hear it in the narration too 😅 Excited for Midnight Mass!

omg yes! I heard a lot of reactors talk about how that song gave them so much trouble with copyright! I'm glad you figured out a way around it, though.

This episode and episode 5 always make me cry. I can’t believe it took me so long to watch Bly after watching Hill House and Midnight Mass. All three stories are just brilliant, while also being very different from one another. Excited for Midnight Mass!

The ending gets me every time. I love that Jamie found a way to tell Dani's story to 'Flora' and 'Miles'... so that they could know it without having to bear it. In the very first episode, Dani told Henry how difficult it was to have any impact when teaching a large classroom of kids. But if she could make a difference in just two children's lives... then it would be worth it. Goal achieved, Dani... goal achieved.

Episode 5 was brilliant and I obviously cried here. I can't for the life of me understand why so many are down on this show. I can't help but wonder if they even made it to episode 5.

She 100% made a difference, even if they don't specifically remember her. It IS very fitting that Jamie told them the story. 😭
