{$5+ Patron-only post --> now available for all Patrons!}

Aloha Patrons!

I'm back from China tour and looking forward to seeing you online tomorrow!

See you Thursday 10/25 at 4:30pm Pacific Time for our monthly Live Lesson - if you click on the video above, you’ll see a countdown for your timezone.

I'll teach our October vote winner, California Dreamin'.  There are both low-G and high-G ukulele parts for the intro, but the main part of the song can be played on either.  The strumming pattern is challenging, but we'll work through slowly. :)

Cynthia, in your Intermediate Class play-through of this song, what tambourine are you playing? I've been looking for one like this for a while. Thanks, CJ

My first time. I've spaced out and missed a couple of previous ones.

I'm working on this song with a friend. We're trying to figure out the timing on the intro finger-picking section. I'd really appreciate it if someone has the count -- this will help us put the 2 parts together. Thanks!

Michael Wach

Did anyone help you with the counts? I totally agree with you on the ud-uu-d--uu-dd--uu-etc notation does nothing to help with timing without the associated counts.
