Aloha, friends!

This weekend, join me and Ukulenny to celebrate our 2020 San Francisco Uke Fest online! One of our favorite and most well-attended SF Uke Jam events was the Summer Uke-Splosion, a sunny and aloha-filled ukulele and hula show produced by the amazing folks at the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival.  Hundreds of uke players would come together on the grassy lawn at Yerba Buena Gardens in the heart of downtown San Francisco, to sing and strum and enjoy performances.  

Remember when we used to all get together and play?  Relive the memories with these photos from 2019 and 2018 by Jim Watkins/YBGF.

This year, we will miss being with our Bay Area ukulele and hula community in person. So let's all come together online for a Virtual Uke-Splosion, and the silver lining is that now the whole world is invited. ☀️ For our Uke-Splosion Livestream, Ukulenny and I have chosen special songs that highlight the history of our SF Uke Jam community.  And let's all hope that we will be back together at Yerba Buena Gardens in 2021!
