Hell yeah!......It's Time to DDDD-DU-DU-DU-DUEL....!!!

(╯✧▽✧)╯ロロロロロ

So yeah, I remember that in the last post I promised to talk a little bit more about my past with Yu-Gi-Oh! , but the case will be that we will have to wait until the next time I decide to draw another Yu-Gi-Oh! girl. (This will be pretty soon, don't worry) Right now I'm kind of short on time and this is a long and epic story.

So there is no point in trying to summarize it in just a few words...┐( ´ д ` )┌

What I would like to talk about right now is the results of this work...!

As you already know, I believe that I am my worst critic, and being so hard on myself has always been part of my work policy. Since right now on I can see a lot of really notable errors, but at the same time I must admit that I am quite happy with the results.

This Dark magician girl and my previous work with Astrea have been pieces that I had to work on entirely without using references. This kind of very dynamic and slightly foreshortened poses are something really difficult to find in photographs of normal models. So for 90% original poses I think they are very well done. (I said 90% and not 100% because things like unconscious plagiarism and referential memory always play an important part in the creation of any work, also there is no such thing as a 100% original pose, there is nothing new under the sun, remember it)

BTW, does this pose make someone else think about Spiderman...(・ω・)?

Next point, getting a lot more confidence in my use of cell shading.

As I already mentioned, this technique is supposed to help save time and optimize work flow, but for the life of me I just can't keep things simple. I still spend too much time unnecessarily polishing things.

I went with 3 sets of shadows and 2 of highlights (as I always do) when I had planned to simplify things to 2 sets of shadows and a single universal layer for highlights.

Damn, once you become a try hard, you will always be a try hard, I guess...┐( ̄ヘ ̄;)┌

But I can't complain, I am more than happy with the results of the work. It is a direct hit to the life points of my heart..!

Σ>―(〃°ω°〃)♡→

I really hope it does the same for you.

Thanks for all the patience and support...(* ̄▽ ̄)b

I really do appreciate it...!

Top 3 Yu-Gi-Oh girls 😆 Dark Magician Girl Akiza Izinski Alexis Rhodes

VirusG

Hey, very nice selection...;D ► DMG is done...! ► Alexis is really good too, I used to play a lot of Yugioh GX Tag Force on my PS2 ... So I know a little about her. ► Akiza is really new to me, but damn! she looks so hot ... I'll do a little bit of "research" on her, I see some potential...;D

DMG is great but she is only a card so Akiza is the best Yu-Gi-Oh girl for me. She is lovely and ruthless in a duel... and not to mention her outfit when she turbo duels (They duel on motorcycles sometimes in 5D’s 😂). If you’re going to research her be sure to check her motorcycle outfit too 😆

They duel using whaaaaaat....Σ(°ロ°) ????! Damn, apparently I left the game at the wrong moment. I will take a very good look at that...!
