Monocle Man is pure trash. MaoMao is not his in any way except biology. Maomao's bio mom's value is so damn low, she might as well be for free. Him getting her bio mom and paying for her was all part of Maomao's plan. For Monocle Man to finally do that woman right like he should've done. And for him to leave her (Maomao) alone. Thank goodness everything Maomao got (looks, intelligence) from bio mom and (street smarts, cleverness, medical knowledge) her adopted dad, the old lady and courtesans at the brothel...not Monocle Man. All he gave was DNA from his little swinmers. I will never like him. He can forever get bent. I love the dance she did for MeiMei...but what had me laughing was I knew Jinshi was there, long enough to watch the entire thing because someone saw her on the wall dancing. 🤣 I hope we get Jinshi's backstory and Lihaku gets to buy Pairin next season. It was great rewatching this with you both reacting. We'll see Maomao, Jinshi, and crew for season 2 next year. 😊
