All I’m worried about rn is how Rue is gonna pay that lady her money 😭😭 $10k drugs just gone. Also, some ppl brought up how Rue had told Elliot about her plan but if I remember carefully idk if she told him the full details. He’s definitely still getting the side eye for that “I liked Rue before” comment. He’s very manipulative. Cassie hasn’t stopped embarrassing herself since ep 1. For one she could’ve lied better than that but most importantly it’s time to end the crying. Both her & Jules are tiring w/ the waterworks every episode. This was the best episode of the season & my favorite of the entire show thus far. See what happens when they don’t shove balls in our faces every 10 seconds 😂

Rewatching the end of this episode I got a frightening thought. If you look closely at the beginning of the episode it gives a “sexual assault/harassment” warning but the only time that would’ve fit for this episode is when Rue went over to Laurie’s house & stayed the night after she was drugged w/ morphine and she woke up in that room w/ a change of clothes on. I’m hoping I’m wrong but w/ all the talk about Rue selling her body if she’s not able to pay for the drugs, I’m starting to think Laurie set this entire thing up. When she said “I knew we’d be in each other’s lives when I meet you” makes me think she knew she was a drug addict from the get go & knew she wouldn’t be able to actually sell the $10k worth of drugs. Even knowing that, she gave them to Rue so she’d fail & she’d be sold into her sex trafficking ring. It’s sick but Laurie knew Rue was easy bait & made it seem like she was giving her a choice (both when she got the drugs to sell & when Rue was asking for drugs for her withdrawal and settled on the morphine) when in actuality she was setting her up to fail. Also when they were talking & the camera focused in on that room w/ the lock on it, there was definitely someone scratching at the door.

This episode had me STRESSED tf out!!! Rue baby what is you doing?!!! Tre talking about he need a blunt man this show so intense it got me wondering if should be smoking a bit a weed while watching. I’m definitely with Tre tho if Zendaya don’t sweep all these awards we on they head tops cause ain’t no way. From strictly a show standpoint I thought I was super wack for Jules to fuck Elliot then show up at her house in his clothes and Elliot not even trying to approach Rue about getting clean after he become her main go to do drugs was weak. I understand it was beneficial to her getting clean but damn Maddy literally said she’s choosing violence… Cassie, Nate and Nate daddy need to be very scared.

Very good observation, yeah I think next season will probably dive into that more, I was thinking she had some girls locked in that room but I wasn't sure.
