During this past week I’ve mainly focused on the art and planning the structure for Chapter 13. Prioritizing the art has helped me get the production pipeline moving, allowing me to involve the colorist and the new artist I'm working with. It's also crucial for structuring and building the new scenes. Shifting my focus to art has given me a break from the grind of writing the script, though I’m still gradually working on the epilogue. Additionally, I’ve added some new music tracks to the game and will be commissioning 3-4 new backgrounds as well.

Regarding the upcoming release schedule, here’s what I’ve planned: With the summer house event wrapped up, we’ll be shifting back to Lena’s perspective, starting with her trip with Seymour. The next release will focus on this stand-alone event, followed by another release that continues Lena’s POV during the week afterward. The third release will then switch back to Ian’s POV to advance some of his main storylines. I’m hoping these shorter updates will help me maintain a faster and more consistent release pace, as the chapters have become quite lengthy and deep, and waiting to complete all the plotlines takes too long.

I’m considering making a couple of posts to share some behind-the-scenes details of Chapter 12, but I’d love to know what you’d like to see. Are there any specific aspects you’re curious about? Let me know your suggestions in the comments!

Hey Eva, thank you for your thoughts - I advocate your ideas & your planned approach. I would be very curious to see / learn more about BTS...Share us backgrounds where you are proud of your work! ⚜️

Hi there, I hope you’re doing well. I have no idea if it’d be feasible, but I’d like to see Lena and Emma hang out together (maybe at the occupied building, playing music, or working on Emma’s style) on paths in which Lena tells Seymour to leave her alone.

Deadpool

Hey dev keep up the good work, I would like to see Lena's bi side more (lesbian scenes) and Ian and lena(friends with benefits path) in more mff scenes.

Ethereal Twist

I surely hope the focus is not just on Seymour, his route is entirely optional so ideally you think hard on what Lena gets up to without him too. It'll have been a year since the last Lena-focused chapter so ideally it's not cut short for her fans just because they didn't do Seymour's content. As for chapter 12 I'm curious to hear what your approach with Louise is in regards to Ian and Lena. It only takes very little effort from Ian to get her interested and nothing with either Lena or Jeremy impacts Louise's decision to contact Ian in chp. 12. So I'm curious to know if the choice to make Louise "easy," and for her to have no constraints to get with Ian in regards to her route with Lena, a deliberate choice you made when writing it?

Oh, I am surprised you are breaking the dual-perspective on every event rule more consequently. No criticism, just realising it. I expected that you will show Lena's perspective on the beach house in the next update(s). When I think about it, it started with the fighting-tournament, right? So Ian has the tournament and the beachhouse and Lena has the Trip with Seymour. Not talking about the fact that a trip of Lena and Seymour sound like celebrating birthday and New Years Eve in one day and I am soooo loking forward to this. But I think it is a good idea of you to go with the smaller updates and sometimes concentrating on one protagonist on big events. Hope this works for you. Even though I missed my (big) dose of Lena at the beach house (maybe becaus I am playing a rather "prude" approach currently) I am so looking forward for this big event with her and her nemesis :) . Talking about behind-the-scenes: I would love to get into your head a little when you are weighing words to use. Just a suggestion, but you could pick a (not so revealing and not sexual) scene and tell us how you are going to make sound Ian lazy/aggressive/afraid to do something depending on the path he is on. For example: "I wanted Ian to invite Emma to a game of darts. First I went for the Ian that is in a relation with Emma because... . "Hey, you wanna spend some time together doing some penetration?" I thought about him making some sexual remakt, but the "penetration" seemed forced. So I decided to drop this joke and instead..." But only if you feel for it to share with us. Frankly, I would just be fine with a small update from you and saving your valuable time for development. Even though your "behind the scenes" and Q&As are always very interesting :) .

... and then Seymour showes up with some muscle guys and threatens to throw them out if Lena would not do some modeling for him right there, right now. So the muscle guys could work as mobsters or as partners in her modelling for Seymour. And Emma would not know what to do and feel guilty for Lena giving in to Seymour just to safe Emma's dream. Oh my, I have some evel bias today, I am afraid. :D

I'm curious to hear more about how you decide which characters get the most screen time. Since this whole thing takes place through the lens of the two main characters, that probably limits you to only showing things that happen around those characters. But would you consider making some bonus content that was referenced but obviously doesn't involve Lena or Ian? For example, the Mike/Ivy encounter. I'm a stan for more Ivy content in general.

Syryu

I'm interested to see how that one plays out too. With flirting with Ivy that's pretty clearly setting up an Ian-Lena-Ivy threesome (yay!!) but with Louise unless you got the threesome with her, Lena, and Ian she does come off as easy to get her interest. But I think it still makes sense for her character since she seems to cling to anyone who gives her even the slightest bit of affection. In my playthrough Lena had to be really firm with her that their physical relationship is over now that she's with Ian. Plus there's the issue with rising rent and for me Lena had to be firm with Louise there too, so for me it comes off as Louise both being desperate for love and affection and her spitefully lashing out at Lena indirectly for treating her like Jeremy did. Either way interested in seeing where this goes...

Also a stan of Ivy, but would prefer content that involves the two main characters AND Ivy as opposed to side story type content, i.e., Ivy's adventures without either of the main characters.

krank404

Totally with you on both looking forward to what is the non-Seymour alternative to the chapter, and also Louise (a character I would like to see more of as opposed to Cindy).

krank404

Yes to this. Frankly there are so many good characters in this game that could potentially be developped. I hope that at some point they can be developped more to provide alternate routes (after the game has fully mapped out the current routes in progress).

VHO

I think Louise and Ian are interesting together. It’d be interesting to see more of their nerdy/alternative sides brought by each other.

Samantha

So excited for new Seymour content, his character is really interesting to me. Love the new outfit!

Hello Eva. First let me say this is an amazing game. I really like the characters, and the story a lot. After playing Baldur's Gate 3 the choice driven story line really clicked with me. I like how our actions can make Ian and Lena follow a good or evil path for lack of a better term. I've tried both and really love the Ian/Lena/Holly path the most. My favorite paths are avoiding or refusing the toxic people of the city and fighting back against Seymour. I hope the Ian/Lena/Holly path has a future. They are good people and I hope they can find a way out of their troubles without having to give in to harmful people of the city. I look forward to game updates. Thank you for all your hard work. I really love the artwork of this game. Some wallpapers would be great. Thank you Muddy

When approximately will we get the last part of chapter 12?
