Since I've finished the writing on DK #1, GSSK #1 and KMD #2, it's time for the next exciting chapter in the XENOVERSE!

As you guys may know, I've had a few really talented artists very keen to work with me. The artist working on Bloodsport will be the same one who worked alongside Vinnie Tartamella on the yet to be revealed (but AMAZING) XENOTYPE #2 cover.

BLOODSPORT will be a WAVE I story taking place a few months before XENOTYPE: DREAMCATCHER and will feature some familiar faces, but given the series success, it will soon out-pace it.

SERIES SYNOPSIS:

With the growing world population crisis, rising sea levels, and the collapse of the farming nation of Tristitia, food and housing are in short supply.

A totalitarian New World Order called the Social Credit System (SCS) is proposed as the solution and soon initiated.

Society is divided into strata with strict rules determined by class, corporate rank and if you are classified as an essential worker. Stringent curfews and authoritarian behavioral mandates are implemented, guided by Key Social Influencers and enforced by access to basic commodities, such as food and shelter by an uncompromising and unforgiving police state.

Freedom becomes synonymous with abject poverty.

All major cities in Vangloria are divided into Sectors; meticulously monitored paramilitary zones. Participation is compulsory, those who refuse or slip through the cracks lose access to the basic essentials for living and must eke out pitiful survivals in the refuse-ridden subsectors.

Media is controlled by state sanctioned megacorporations like DVS Communications. All art, music, and tele communications are monitored censored. No dissent is tolerated.

Their liberties strangled and lives condemned to fear and empty toil, the masses and the downtrodden come together in search of a path of upward mobility, a wanton desire DVS Communications was happy to entertain, producing a brutal new type of entertainment in the form the hit live-action series…

BLOODSPORT – a violent Reality TV show where contestants endure a gauntlet of deadly obstacles before making it to the ring to face-off in a final life or death fight for the entertainment of the masses.

Streamed live into homes across the world, Bloodsport offers anyone willing to fight the opportunity to raise their Social Credit Score and thereby, their Class.

Prize Fighters are essential workers. They eat when they please and enjoy luxuries, liberties, and a celebrity veneer regardless of their past or prior social status. Particularly amicable fighters are prioritized for Social Elevation. Most of which go on to fuel and even encourage the manic slaughter of the games…

For the rest of the world…

Distracted from their misery by the violence and spectacle, the masses are content to watch from their homes. Satisfied to dream and believe that if they had they the drive, they too might improve their lot in life, and for most, the existence of that opportunity, or at least the illusion of it, is more than enough…

Ignorant to freedoms sacrificed by their forefathers and shackled by vanity, fear and indifference, the people of Vangloria close their eyes and their hearts to poverty and crime lurking just below them in the shadows of civilization.

It is here, a small resistance of freedom fighters has managed to survive underground… and now they intend to take back their tomorrow. This is their story...
