this episode instantly felt like such classic to me. the pod blooms in such an interesting way when accompanied by mall ambiance.

Two in two days! Is this early Christmas?

This might be my favorite lineup of films ever on the show.

Scott Martin

This episode is such a treat, the ending in the Bazaar is perfection. Very Diptyque L’Autre!

I haven't finished this episode yet, but just had to say that since my husband recently finished wiring the house for audio, it's an incredible surround-sound experience having TPN blaring through the air in every room.

Great conversation. You guys have a good intelligent flow, there's no lulls. We didn't have the internet when my friends and I were discussing things like Peter Greenaway films 30 years ago, stoned after cinema double features in some art house, but I'm so glad to see younger people like you doing it similarly, but better. Now I want a bloody Mary. (@ArundelXVI).

About the Zed & Two Noughts / Dead Ringers connection, Greenaway actually tells a story about screening ZOO at the Toronto Film Festival and Cronenberg taking him out to a restaurant afterwards and quizzing him about it for 2 hours. Dead Ringers ended up being released about 8 months later.

Hard agree on how scented trashbags emphasize the rot, almost dropped my dumbbells doing chest presses

Great episode! I enjoyed Zane and the ambient mall sounds.
