The eng subs on YouTube are actually way better. Ihave both Netflix & Viki, but I found that YouTube english translations are much better. They explain Chinese phrases and terms too that characters use. Their chubby is translated as fatty. The translation for that ice black tea is actually Long Island iced tea and she is thinking because there is a tea in the name, its tea. She has no idea Long Island Iced tea is actually a cocktail (alcohol). FYI, Smiling ex cheated on her or at least was cozy with one of the girls (I don't remember exactly) in the novel.
