Yep, finally. Welcome to Grey Sloan Memorial ;) This episode was so good. It kind of put "an end" to all the "plane trauma" and disaster it caused, and it gives us hope for a new beginning, for some new action, like a "new era" vibe ;)

They gave Jackson so much grief about being the head of the board but did Meredith and Cristina forget they were in the same residency class as Jackson? And Callie was only a year ahead of him oh and didn't Derek quit when he was chief of surgery? And by the way Arizona has authority issue and not to mention all of them literally quit which lead to all of this so um none of them had any ground to stand on to criticize him or feel a way. Glad Jackson became the owner or lbs Grey/Sloan memorial would've never existed. Mark and lexi would be honored.

i definitely think it’s a bit unfair how the rest of the board people treated avery, but i get it 100%. like jackson did get handed this position from his mommy. and then on top of that, the comment about being in the situation because of them suing?? like bitch you dated lexie you’d think he’d have thought a little bit before he speaks like goddamn that really made me mad. but yeah i get the trepidation when he comes in all he says is “the foundation thinks this, the foundation says this” like the did all this to get out from pegasus corporate conglomerate and then seemingly that’s the energy he’s giving. and i feel bad for avery cuz he clearly didn’t want this either they’re all on a learning curve but i do wish they gave him more grace, it wasn’t his choice it was his mothers. loved how by the end Jackson really started to come into his own and make his own decisions which were great decisions and ofc gave us Grey Sloan Memorial

Their problem is that he was installed on the board by his mommy, and she literally said in front of them "Smile Jackson, I just bought YOU a hospital" of COURSE they're going to be mad that they put in all of this work and effort to save the hospital (even though hospital negligence killed Mark and Lexie, lost Arizona a leg and traumatized the rest of them) and Jackson just gets to waltz in and be placed "in charge" by his mommy. Anyone would have a problem with that. Can you honestly say you wouldn't be wary, annoyed, or overly cautious in those circumstances? It continues to be wild to me that people don't see that their issue is not Jackson as a person but the fact that his mother installed him with the idea in her head that he was going to be the one running things and reporting to her and the foundation and the others would just go along with it. And he play's into that with all his "the foundation thinks this" and "the foundation says that" bs. They all got on board with him the SECOND that Jackson showed he was actually on their side and willing to work with them rather than do what his mom wanted. It's really not that crazy.

YES to like half of this, because Avery deserved everything he got. He didn't need to take the job if he didn't want to, he's a grown man. Let's not pretend like he couldn't have turned it down if he had really wanted to. PLUS it wasn't them suing that screwed the hospital, it was the insurance company finding a loophole. and if Jackson really wants to go into cause and effect... the negligence that put them on that plane that crashed KILLING HIS MENTOR AND HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND is what caused them to sue, they won because they deserved to win, the insurance company found a loophole, and the hospital had to pay out but ALL OF THAT is literally because of the original sin of the hospital (Owen). So if anything, the hospital going under is Owen's fault and the Drs could have just walked away with their millions, but they didn't they formed a plan to help EVERYONE, not just themselves. Jackson was WAY the hell out of line for going there and he doesn't get to be mad that people see him as the enemy when he stopped acting like a person the second his mommy gave him the job. He pulls it all back in the end but as much as it pains me to say it... he was a MASSIVE asshole and he high-key deserved to be put tf in his place.
