As everyone has said, 12 is also really great. My personal fav by a small margin. It's often hard to be open to a new Doctor. Peter is a huge fan of the show from childhood, so he brings that level of regard for the role. Try to keep in mind the rules of a fresh regeneration that you saw in 10 and 11. Instability is common. So give it time. Remember he might have an older face now, but over all, that had been the norm until NuWho.
