Greenbacks- Hello! Thank you again, so much for another fun episode reaction, Travis! I really enjoy this episode! It isn't by any means one of my favorites. But it is entertaining, and it definitely has its many twists and turns that you don't really see coming! :) I've always thought that Greenbacks is such a strange name for an episode of Once Upon a Time. The first time I read this title, I thought this title referred to dollar bills. Because I've heard of dollar bills and other money being referred to greenbacks. And in a strange way, I suppose this title reference could fit this description. At least in the present day storyline within Hyperion Heights because Sabine works hard to make extra money after taking all their rent money to make up for the money that she stole for her risky baking venture. However, this episode's title actually refers to the frogs whom Robert and his girlfriend turns out to be instead within the New Enchanted Forest storyline. And this makes sense. Because frogs are also sometimes referred to Greenbacks, which I didn't know until sometime after this episode first aired on television. After my first impressions of this episode... I enjoyed it overall. And I still like it for sure. I started watching this episode with no expectations like I try to go into every episode with, other than with the hope that it would be really good and more. Especially knowing that the main arc of this episode would center on Princess Tiana/Sabine. I really like Tiana/Sabine very much. I like her personality, and she's a great addition to the cast! As I've said... I really like Tiana's character. Especially because she is the leader of the resistance formed to bring down Lady Tremaine. But I have just been far more intrigued by the storylines for our four main characters... Henry, Rogers, Roni, and Weaver, who is now awake. Although, we don't actually see him at all in this episode. With this being said... I really like the opening scene between Victoria and the Witch. This witch is really creepy, and I love her already! And I love how she's not afraid of Victoria Bellfry at all. If anything, Victoria is more afraid of her and it's great! And I absolutely love the big twist in the end, revealing that Drizella is the real big threat to our heroes, not Lady Tremaine! Drizella is awake too, and she has everyone fooled as to how big her role in all this is. Even her own mother. Ha! Ha! Ha! I will say... I am not really liking the storyline between Henry and Ivy though. I mean, I'm happy that Ivy appears to be of help to him in bringing down her mother, or so we thought. But I always knew she would return to being the stuck up witch with a capital "B" that she is. I just didn't suspect her role in our world under the curse is more than this though. I think the chemistry between Henry and Ivy is much stronger than his chemistry with Jacinda/Cinderella. So much stronger. I don't like Jacinda much either. But because we know that Henry and Cinderella are really married, I don't like seeing this different take on a love triangle. Ugh... So, I actually really appreciate that Roni keeps trying to talk Henry out of falling for Ivy. She isn't good for Henry, as she's keeping him distracted from writing and from their plan for the three of them (Roni, Henry, and Rogers) to bring down Victoria. Which I fear is exactly what Ivy's role currently is for now. To be a distraction for Henry's character so that he won't fulfill his destiny. Next... I really enjoy seeing Sabine stand up to Victoria in her office when Victoria raises the rent on her place Sabine shares with Jacinda. She isn't going to take Victoria's crap, and I love it. And I also enjoy the first scene we see of Tiana with Drizella, as well as Tiana's mother in the backstory. However, I have to admit... I actually like her a little bit more as Sabine more than as Tiana, and I love seeing her stand up for Lucy when she speaks to Jacinda in the kitchen Jacinda works in. But I hate how harshly Jacinda treats her after Victoria's goon tries to burn the kitchen down and that she basically kicks Sabine out of her life for offering her dreams and hope. I also really appreciate that we get to see Sabine being more like her true self as she is seen making her famous beignets just as Tiana loves to bake in The Princess and the Frog. Sabine's big plans to sell her beignets is risky, but for now... It seems as though things have worked out for them. Oh, and yes... The fireflies are also a reference to The Princess and the Frog as well, because one of Tiana's animal companions and close friend throughout the movie is a firefly named, Ray. So yes... Lucy wanting to stamp images of a firefly on all the bags of her beignets has meaning behind it as well. Once again... I have gone back to disliking Jacinda and to feeling sorry for Lucy, but far more so for Sabine. Jacinda may have apologized for acting out, but I had a feeling when I watched this season as it aired that throughout it, Jacinda would be a very wishy washy character throughout the entire season, which is what I came to dislike about how Belle's character is written towards the end of season four, and seasons five and six. Ugh... Don't get me wrong about Belle... I love Belle very much and always have. I am just frustrated by her character in these later seasons because of her feelings towards Rumple being so back and forth. It really annoys me a lot. But back to this episode... I love the scenes between Tiana and Dr. Facilier, or the Shadow Man. He turns out to be quite a cool villain in this episode, and very mysterious. And the actor who plays him is fantastic in this role!! Daniel Francis. I enjoy the remaining backstory for Tiana in this episode, but I really hate the Prince, Prince Marius, right from the beginning. I find him to be a very boring character and very unattractive. I hoped that she wouldn't fall for him by the end and thankfully she didn't. And I don't care that Marius' love turns out to be the frog, and that Facilier has him try to steal Tiana's father's medal to try to free this woman. It is a real twist of The Princess and the Frog story, which I appreciate. This story arc for Tiana is most definitely different than her story arc is for her in The Princess and the Frog. But I still just don't care for it at all here in Once Upon a Time. I don't like him and therefore, I quickly already lost interest in his story. But it is nice to see Tiana return to the Shadow Man to save the woman, or frog, because Tiana is a strong hero. Facilier manages to escape, and frees himself from his own prison within the mysterious world on the "Other Side" that he speaks of thanks to the medallion and the red stone inside of it, but Tiana still wins the battle, nonetheless. And the Prince and his love get their happy endings as frogs. Good for Tiana. Speaking of the "Other Side"... In Disney's, The Princess and the Frog, Dr. Facilier is known as the Shadow Man, trapped working for the demons and dark shadows living on the "Other Side" thanks to his meddling in the dark voodoo magic he possesses. The "Other Side" refers to the next world after death. The dark side. I love it!! Now... I absolutely love Rogers' storyline throughout this episode. And while it's the briefest storyline, it's actually my favorite storyline within this episode! I really love the brief scene between him, Roni, and Henry! I think it's funny how Roni tells him he should get a hobby. I also love how his missing girl case has taken a new turn. And we now have a name for this missing girl... Eloise Gardener. I enjoy seeing Rogers punching the criminal, his interrogation of the prisoner, and hearing the guy's warning to him about what Rogers will find when pursuing the tattoo. But then... The criminal calls someone in the end to warn some mystery person that Rogers has begun looking for the girl. Boo! But yay!!! I am very excited for more! I love how protective of Henry Roni is. And of course, I love how she finds the picture of her and Henry and then talks with Henry in the end, as he tells her that the boy was him, and that Roni doesn't know Storybrooke, or why she's wearing clothes like she's wearing in the photo. Like she always wore in Storybrooke. Very fascinating. Just what exactly is Drizella up to? I really love the end scene between Drizella and this mysterious witch still locked in her mother's so called tower. Clearly, they are both playing Victoria/Lady Tremaine, but to what end? And this witch is so creepy. I love it!! And lastly... I also love the few other Disney animated references we get within this episode as well. First... We get a nod to Pinocchio, when Rogers is talking to one of the other cops inside their precinct just after Rogers punches the criminal out. Rogers asks the officer where he found the criminal, and the officer tells him that he had found him picking a fight inside the Pleasure Island Cantina. Rogers then states that he recognizes how too much booze can cause people to be real jackasses... Which is what happens to all of the boys that come to Pleasure Island in the Disney movie after they've all been drinking, smoking, partying, etc... Because they all literally turn into donkeys. And second... We get a Wreck It Ralph reference as well, when Victoria makes a call to one of her henchmen named Ralph, as she tells him to wreck Tiana's and Jacinda's plans. I love them!! :) Overall... This is just an okay episode for me, but I still enjoy it! I look forward to what's to come, and seeing you react to more. So... Thank you again, so much, Travis! Sincerely, Heidi

Its interesting how they made the Doc from the Princess and the Frog British since the movie took place in New Orleans. I do like Princess and The Frog, this storyline for Tiana here was kind of meh to me, but I do like that they're including more Princesses of color in this season.

I love that Victoria felt the need to resort to arson when she could have just called the cops on them, they were literally operating an illegal business. Sabine didn't have permission to be selling beignets out of that chicken place, I'm sure there's a million food safety issues that come with that.

(NOT A SPOILER) --- The end was implying that Ivy is awake too, not just her mother. It's like everyone is cursed and doesn't remember the Enchanted Forest, but the ending was telling us that Ivy is also awake. Wasn't very obvious though!
