Movie Run Time: 1:36:03

You will need your own copy of the movie to watch along! 😁

Thank you so much to Don Wagner for this months P.P! I feel quite ashamed that I didn’t recognise Lee Marvin as the no nose guy 🤣 while I’m swooning over Kid Shelleen!

If you want to see more of Jane Fonda movies I suggest On Golden Pond. Her costar was her father Henry Fonda.

Thanks Don and Dawn. I remember seeing this movie when I was four or five years old about 60 years ago. It was one of the first movies that I had seen. I remember singing the theme song for weeks or months afterwards. It made an old man happy to see it again.

Jane Fonda in "On Golden Pond" (1982) with her dad was a good movie. Also good was "The China Syndrome"(1979) "Barefoot in the Park" (1967) and "Klute" (1971).

Lee Marvin won an Oscar for this movie. In his acceptance speech, he thanked the horse. Another comedy western from this time period, which pokes fun at just about every western trope, is "The Hallelujah Trail," directed by the same man who did "The Magnificent Seven," John Sturges. Also, I don't think you have yet reacted to "Destry Rides Again," (1939) with James Stewart.

I've avoided this film for decades. I've traded horses and cattle since the 70s and thought it too silly. BUT .. this was truly an enjoyable experience watching with you our Dawn. 🍻 😁
