Glad to see you cheering for Hinata, she was my favorite as well. Even if her meekness is sometimes frustrating. 😅 But she's usually watching Naruto closely, and Naruto is giving her a great example, so there's potential for anything in her. Hinata's family basically runs the Hyuga clan, and Neji's family is treated like servants for the head family. So you can see why Neji would have some hostility towards her, especially because she's an easy target to bully. Although, there's more to the story, that'll be revealed later.

Soo, yeah. Both Sharingan(red ring eye) and Byakugan(white eye) are kekkei genkai from the Uchiha and Hyuga families, as kekkei genkai are special abilities passed on hereditary. And we start to discover more about Byakugan these episodes, although we've seen it used a few times previously. Also yes, Hanabi is the 5 years younger sister of Hinata. As Hezer mentioned Hinata and Neji are quite closely related, but Hinata's family runs the clan and Neji's being in the branch is treated more like servants. That will become more clear in future episodes. However Hinata is particularry weak for being a member of the head family, hence her own father being very dissapointed and dissmisive of her
