Pokemon, Multiversal Streamer Chapter 23 (Patreon)

The tunnels below Mt Moon was long and let me tell you... Trying to sleep in a tunnel in the wild with pokemon doing their own thing in the pitch darkness. Was a terrible time to say the least.

But hey! At least the noises of 'monsters' stirring in the darkness made Ai snuggle up with me in the tent we were sharing until we decided it was time for us to get moving.

As it certainly wasn't like we had the sun out on us to tell us what time it was... "It's suprisingly cold." Ai complained as she brushed her hands together and I nodded as I checked the map I had of the tunnels.

"Well we got like an extra six more hours of walking through darkness to go. If we power on hard today, we can actually get to Cerulean City by nightfall so long as we don't get too distracted." I spoke before I clicked on the livestream.

[WorstTeacher- Ohya? You are up early, did you two do anything naughty while trying to sleep haha?"] 

"Fuck you Gojo." I said flippantly as I shook my head but even as the Ai gave a groan at how Gojo kept needling at us. I paused as a dull rumble rang out.

But I just shrugged and said. "Alright let's get going Ai... How comfortable is your backpack anyway?" I asked in humor as we started walking.

As I could see Ai's backpack filled with extra clothes and such was expanding and contracting slowly as that damned Jigglypuff was just snoring away inside her backpack.

Ai hearing my question giggled and said happily. "Aww she is just so cute honestly. Once we get outside to a better spot, she will be an amazing snuggle pillow I bet haha!"

[Looneylovegood- Ohhh! I bet this will be useful to see my papa. I wonder if it can get past Hogwarts wards? Though it being able to cut the prices of travel in half is good enough as well.] 

Meanwhile, I was holding my head with a grimace as having the knowledge of how to tear space with mental energy and fold demensions to teleport myself wherever I had been before or had seen in-depth video of the place was something to say the least.

"Thank you Luna... This will be super useful when the headache goes away." I said with my voice a bit thick.

But I refocused as Luna sent another message. [Looneylovegood- Jake, I became friends with Harry Potter lately and he is rather stressed with the whole Triwizard Tournament with the first challenge coming up like a week from now. Can you help at all?]

I blinked as I wasn't sure if I should just dump all of the plot of Harry Potter onto Luna's shoulders. But after a moment I said. "Luna, go ahead and tell Harry that the first challenge is to steal a fake egg from a nursing dragon."

And so I went on to explain how Harry Potter typically did one of the worst things he could have done in going on a merry game of chicken with the dragon on his flying broomstick and after explaining all that... Luna only had one thing to say.

[Looneylovegood- Dear Merlin! That's such a horrible thing to do honestly! I am going to tell Papa to put in the newspaper the event and how they are going to torture nursing mothers by having the champions pretend to steal their children!"]

"I wonder if that will actually change anything?" Ai mused aloud with a sharp 'Jiggily!' ringing out as Ai did a little hop over a rock that made the Jiggilypuff in her backpack bounce a bit too much for its liking.

"You can't sleep all day you lazy little puffball. Come on out!" Ai teased and cajoled with clear joy as Jiggilypuff let out another noise that clearly meant empathetically 'No. I much rather not.' 

A screech rang out ahead and we all silenced ourselves as a crowd of a couple hundred Zubat's flew across of us in the huge cavern we were in. And we remained silent for a long minute as we kept moving through the pitch darkness besides the flashlights we had on our heads and in our hands.

"Kirilia." Rose muttered quietly as she tapped my head to the side and I looked over only to see a couple of Sandslash that were wandering towards us naturally who paused and hissed angrily as my lights landed on their forms.

'So that's why there aren't any lights in the tunnels... The more intelligent Pokemon would just destroy them.' I thought as I held Ai's arm and pulled her ahead as this huge cavern was filled with too much life for my taste.

But then I heard loud laughter in the distance and as we kept moving we found the source of laughter as some crazy 'Hiker' dude was riding an Onix who was squaring up with a Golem who looked ready to throw down.

"Yup, we are definitely still on the path." I noted as I could see on the back of the hicker's outfit a League logo marking him as a Ranger whose job was keeping the main path and routes clear of too strong of Pokemon.

We kept moving and entered the next smaller tunnel where I got another message pointed at me in particular.

[PrincessOfRuination- So with you having access to a teleport, do you still want a flying Pokemon? If so, which one do you want?"]

I hummed and I said honestly. "Well Rias, even if I can teleport. It's till tiring especially for distance and if I am taking Ai with me. So yeah having a flying Pokemon would be good... As for which one? Probably Skarmory or one of the legendary bird like pokemon." 

[PrincessOfRuination- Oh yeah I mentioned I wanted a Latias before. Anyway... You have any advice for dealing with Riser beyond the cheat items I already got from the streaming side?]

I blinked at the question before I shrugged and said. "You have the fight in the bag with you having the Oblivion Orb, to say nothing of Kiba having the Blade of the Ruined King right? Just defeat her queen and his little sister, and the rest of your peerage can fold his in half." 

[PrincessOfRuination- I don't want to leave things up to chance you know... This is my future, and even still I have been training hard with my peerage for when it comes. Though I haven't been able to get Akeno, and Koneko to use their heritage abilities yet sadly.]

I nodded and I said quietly. "It's understandable. Just... Yeah maybe I can help more directly if things go poorely but who knows." I muttered before CC sent something that made me blink.

[ImmortalWitch- Huh... Well that was well worth the two hours trying out codes to get access to Lulu's credit card.]

"Holy shit you are shameless," I said flatly... But I was silenced as I took a bite of a slice of one of the pizzas she sent me.

"Dammit... This is delicious, why is your universe's pizza's so damned delicious?" I demanded incredulously as I held the slice out to Ai who took a bit with her eyes widening at how delicious it was.

And when CC replied I could all but hear her smug montone voice. [ImmortalWitch- The Italians have to be good for something right? Why can't they be the best sauce makers in the world?]

I could already tell CC was going to be a little shit of dry humor but either way she was welcomed to the club as everyone but Mayumi was active in the chat... It made sense why Mayumi was busy, as she was in a super magic school and such.
