Alright, here it is - the first and third song of the album, Intro: Long Journey AND Treasure!

Last time, we reacted to Pirate King, the highly requested debut album track from Ateez, and we noticed that we missed the introduction video, so we thought we'd give that a shot first, followed by the next song on the list, Treasure.

As we say in the video, let us know if the intro video we reacted to ISN'T the proper track (I have a feeling maybe it indeed is wrong, but we enjoyed the video nonetheless), and of course, if we should react to the KQ Fellaz videos afterwards before we proceed with the rest of the album!

Hope you'll enjoy this one - we sure did!

Love.

1) Your bar cart looks very similar to mine. LOL and 2) Yes, the Intro/Video are the same. You mentioned they're good at English, so any "narration" they have in their tracks (and there's quite a few as you go through their discography) is all done by Maddox who is also part of their production team. EDENARY is their team which also consists of EDEN, Buddy, Leez, Ollounder, Pepperoni, HLB and Oliv. I think I have all of that right. But literally EVERYTHING they do is lore related. It's intense. You mentioned the auto tune and they do use it in a lot of there b-sides. BUT, it's usually their more "hip hop" heavy songs, like "Don't Stop", "To the Beat", "The Leaders", and most recently "The Ring". The last two are INTENSE songs. I think they use it to accentuate the message they're trying to get across. I'm not a fan of auto tune at all but when they use it, it doesn't seem to bother me as much. Just wait until you get to their New World album. I think it's by FAR their best to date. And my fiancé doesn't like K-pop, but he LOVES Cyberpunk.

Y’all reacted the same way I did when I first heard this song. Out of body experience. We’ve ascended. Also, PLEASE do react to those dance videos. 🙌🏼

Yay! So glad you liked it!! One thing you'll notice Abt Ateez is they use their lore in pretty much everything! From varieties, interviews, performances, concerts, everything! It's pretty cool! And yes please check out KQfellaz! Their KQfellaz content is Code name is Ateez KQfellaz From MV by KQfellaz (they wrote and produced) And 3 KQ Fellaz performances and 1 solo Yunho performance. The third KQfellaz performance, the music is mixed by hongjoong too

bea

there are 4 kq fellaz dance performances, 3 of them are all of them as a group and one of them is a yunho solo performance and yes i would definitely want to see you guys react to it! they went kind of viral with one of those performances among kpop fans on social media and that's how they got a bit of hype pre-debut which was great since they come from a small and unkown company. can't wait for more ateez reactions! :)

I would never say no to a KQ Fellaz reaction. It's all predebut but you seriously wouldn't be able to tell. It would also include their predebut song as well. It's fun to see how much they've grown as a group. They just have so much content and then the lore that is in everything. Ya'll haven't even scratched the surface. Love your reactions! Thank you. <3 Also adding the link for the predebut song. :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-89J5Qu3r0

Love hearing your thoughts about the funky things that Ateez do with music 💕 It's so fun and I feel like they're so underrated. There's truly so much thought put into every aspect of what they do and the result is always fun. I can't wait to see you react to the actual b-sides, I think you're really going to enjoy them haha. The KQ fellaz videos are always fun - it's just dance videos but they really showcase what kind of performance beasts Ateez were on their way to becoming. I see the predebut song was also linked, and I'd add my +1 one for reacting to that as well, maybe in the same video as the performances. Hongjoong took part in producing it and all the members contributed lyrics, so it's really sweet. There is a ninth member in that song but he didn't end up debuting with them due to a too-short training period.

Haha that's Han-C's bar cart and I'm fairly certain it really is the same as yours, although we haven't seen yours. Also, great info on the narration part - we had no idea! We are aware that their lore can be quite messy and confusing, but we're going to try our best to go with it here and there haha! Hard agree on the autotune because we're not usually fans of it either ;) very excited

Yall Hearing This podcast

I am so happy you loved this one, Treasure, Aurora, and Mist are some of my favorites ❤️

Inge Sahuleka

Totally off topic, but I suddenly got distracted, do I spot Laphroigh behind you guys?😁🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Not entirely sure if others mentioned this but they filmed this in Moracco and evidently during some of the scenes they filmed it was so hot that it was literally melting the soles of their shoes. The dedication to their music and their art is honestly sooo impressive. I would’ve been dying trying to even recreate a fraction of what they did in the video. I definitely say check out KQ Fellas because their videos are absolutely incredible.

Handsome Sausages

Wow the lore is already so grand, imagine expanding to everything else..honestly though, love it. That's brilliant

Handsome Sausages

Haha yehhhh just as expected, everyone wants KQ Fellaz reaction. Honestly, we wanted it too so haha it's all perfect! Thank you for the support and the link :D

Handsome Sausages

Yes for underrated :( We are really looking forward to the B-tracks as well - can't wait to see what they have in store for us!! And thanks for the info on the ninth member; otherwise, we'd have been very very confused haha

Handsome Sausages

Ohhh no wonderrrrr I feel like we did hear this somewhere, but totally forgot about it. The scenery is breathtaking - and so much more respect for dancing in that heat..wow..

Just came here to update that ATEEZ “Outlaw” comeback is June 16. 😱🥳

Legenderer

LORD I remember the first time I listened to this track

J

Not sure if you're aware of this yet, but the instrumental narration and Outro motifs and overtures are actually part of almost every album. They are their own tracks, the instrumentals are incredible, and the narrators set the tone for each era and the conclusions at the end. This narrator is Maddox, a fellow lablemate and one of their producers, as well as a singer in his own right.

Handsome Sausages

We did hear that it's Maddox doing the narration, but we didn't know about it being a part of every album!! :0

J

It's AMAZING :D The Intros and Outro's are for Each Chapter though, maybe not each album. But they do connect across an amazing breadth, and they set the tone storywise.

I actually choked when you said "it's like One Piece"!! I never thought of whether you guys would be fans but excited to know that in the very least you know of it! Very fond of the baffled betrayal D'some experienced when Han-C said he watched their variety show 😂
