Oh this was...

It's been some time since we recorded this reaction and it's still my (d'some's) personal favourite and this music in terms of the genre or the tone would never have been my "favourite" from SKZ given their diverse and masterful discography - yet here we are; it truly IS a magical song!

Hope you enjoy this one :) it was SUPER fun.

I love Miroh so much. I can’t help jumping. But I was not expecting the Paprika link! I gotta go back and watch it again now…

If you're wondering what Miroh would sound like with that percussive element of Entrance, I recommend this live performance from 2019 Gayo Daejeon to watch on your own time ^^ https://youtube.com/watch?v=dUQPdoCsQjQ&si=Hk5_LyDihxuERD3y

To this day, Entrance is still one of my favourite tracks. I love it and that's it. Miroh is iconic and everyone in the and into kpop knows it. It's sooooooo good! Each time I can't wait for you to get to the next song and I feel like I should stop saying it because I'm a die hard STAY so... yeah hehe. But the story behind these two tracks is very interesting. You sould check out the 3RACHA talk with JYP and the album intro on their Youtube Chanel to know more about it, I'm you'll enjoy getting more info. But maybe watch after listen to the full album if you want zero spoilers of the sounds and songs. :)

Layah Snow

Miroh live is insane! Being part of a full arena screaming “stray kids hoo” together is an unforgettable experience 🥹

Sandy Cai

I'm so happy you finally reached this era hahahaha STRAY KIDS HOOOO!!

Aileen Arreguin

Stray kids have always been criticized for "noise" music so I'm really glad you saw the genius in the production One thing I would love to recommend is to watch their album intros where they talk about producing and ideas behind the songs!

♡ Bludreamgirl ♡

where the iconic "STRAY KIDS HOO!" came from, I love that you are doing cle so much, ima straight up cry when you get to victory song tho lol I've always loved that chan incorporated a haka into the choreo!

ShawnyJ

In my mind, there's a difference between bangers and anthems. Stray Kids mostly make bangers, Ateez mostly makes anthems. Don't ask me what the distinction is. But this is the true SKZ anthem!

Rini_P

The entrance will make more sense after you finish the album. I would almost recommend relistening after. Ahhhh Miroh, oh Miroh, StrayKids first music show win. The dance inspired by the Haka an ode to their Australian backgrounds. It’s a song that will never get old. Victory Song and Maze of Memories were born in this album, but the sleepers are 19, chronosaurus and boxer. It’s probably my second favorite from start to finish and every single song has a visual. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!

Ideosycrat

Miroh is like THE stray kids hymn by now, a concert without it unthinkable, it's like a big celebration party for Stray Kids, their music and Stays. So typical also for them: making a party of/for life and at the same time delivering a serious massage, a statement. And again the start of a strong album, hitting hard, each song strong. So, brace yourself, but you'll love it, I'm sure!

Martina~

You guys, for the next song I beg you, please check out both the Performance Video of Victory Song (https://youtu.be/Fy3zu0WsTLM?si=loJeBnTbo--r95Z1), as well as the Victory Song performance from MAMA 2020 (https://youtu.be/gkp47FEi-b8?si=CAmLjT64SHnvf0a3). I promise, you won't be disappointed! It's one of their most epic performances EVER and it legit feels like a music video. Like, you can think of it as a Kingdom stage, given the use they made of the stage (I'll just say that there are actual gladiators performing)! And fun fact, at the end of the MAMA video you can see Hyunjin, as well as Ateez and The Boyz together, announcing their particpation to Kingdom (MAMA took place in November 2020 and Kingdom started in Winter/Spring 2021). Also, let me just say that Cle': Miroh is one of my fav albums, along with IN Life and NOEASY. You just heard Miroh, which is a banger, but the next songs will hit just as hard. Victory song is legit one their most epic songs, then we have Maze of Memories that is to this day their most rap heavy song, with all members rapping, then you have Boxer, which is just powerful and memorable.

Selande

Entrance is one of my favorite tracks. It's so good. Miroh is one of my favorites as well. Fun fact - if your phone gets water in it, play Miroh. The bass will force the water out (I saw a youtube video for it lol).

Tess Huber

That was the greatest breakdown of Miroh EVER! Thank you so much for that deep dive on the influences, and you caught so many nuances many people never find when listening to this song. So cool. Cannot wait for your reactions to more of this album.

Before this album dropped, 3RACHA and JYP did a sit down conversation about the prep for Miroh and talked about their journey one year into debut. He also listened to a couple of the songs and asked about the inspiration for the pieces: https://youtu.be/gxc7Y8qysHE?si=rOYdAqmEDPJ2zAAE

GREAT REACTION!!!! This song is also amazing live!! You can feel everyone getting hyped up. Everyone starts jumping around and singing it’s seriously awesome!! I’m excited to get into this album. Top favorite songs in this album are Miroh, Maze of memories and chronosaurus!!!

Jenni Heath

Oh I can't wait for you to listen to Victory Song! There is a performance video to watch that is amazing, but they also performed it at Mama 2020. It is truly one of their best live performances and was basically their announcement of going on Kingdom. If you guys have time you should definitely watch both.

Miroh is one of my favorite songs from Skz or even in general, it tickles my brain in an unexplicable way and I love it. I think it's also the song that made me a Stay so yeah, I can totally understand D'some's feelings! Also, never been a fan of rap before, but Changbin here?? Wow. Fun personal fact about Entrance : when I was a baby stay I was following someone saying that Chan only listened to Top 50 hits (clearly an anti because it just doesn't make any sense??) and after listening to Entrance and 3racha explaining the process behind this album (in a video that others have been mentioning I think), I unfollowed them immediately. Because even I, with not much knowledge about producing, can see they really think out of the box and try to find inspiration in all kinds of music genres, and they're very passionate about it. I gained a new respect for them as producers (and so young at that!). Can't wait for your reaction to Victory Song, 100% sure you're gonna love it! As mentioned by everyone, the Mama 2020 performance is a must watch, it's sooooo epic and the changes to the song make it even better. Thanks again for your reaction, I love rediscovering Stray Kids' discography with you, the journey's been so fun and informative so far!

Handsome Sausages

Never got this 'noise' complaint thing really. Have people not heard real 'noise'? And yesss we'll def get to the album intros :D!

Handsome Sausages

YESSS We always wondered where it came from and we didn't even talk about it - only realized after recording XD So gooooood

Handsome Sausages

In fact, I'd go as far as to say concert JUST for that experience - to listen to Miroh live and sing together with thousands of people there!

Handsome Sausages

Yessssss the way they go about creating music is just next level. Such dedication, creativity, and skills! So excited for Victory Song :) It should be super fun! Happy to be on this journey with you all! :D

Grace Taylor

if you get a chance you should watch a video of them winning their first music show with Miroh!!every single time I hear Han's verse I picture him sobbing, getting it together juuust long enough to rap his part, and then going back to sobbing hahaha https://youtu.be/VXYKQC5R2TA?si=ZY2K4RlECTGuvZOl

kerolina

Miroh will always have a special place in my heart 😭 I cried my eyes out during their concert when the song came out because I was so overwhelmed with stays and skz singing their heart out. It was so embarrassing because I was crying to such a hype song too 🤣 10/10 would recommend watching the live versions everyone else has said here as well!! Can’t wait for your Victory Song reaction next!

anushkakusum

Ahhhhh we're finally in the Miroh era! Im so excited to see yall get to Yellow wood and Levanter and, i definitely recommend watching SKZ win their first ever music show too! So excited to see yall continue on with out favourite boys! <3

sysrae

As an Aussie, I feel obliged to point out that the haka isn't Australian - it's Maori, from New Zealand, so while the dance might reference the haka as a type of Antipodean/ANZAC solidarity thing, it's not itself Australian.

sysrae

I got to see SKZ perform live in March, and while the whole experience was incredible, Miroh was definitely one of the highlights - I cannot convey how hard this song hits live, in a stadium full of people screaming along. From time to time I see clips of it being played in clubs where the whole crowd yells out STRAY KIDS HOO! at the relevant parts, and it's just incredible; one of those songs that's the perfect energy for crowds. Also, I love the link to Paprika! I really should watch that film again, it's been ages; the last Satoshi Kon I saw was a rewatch of Perfect Blue (which, as a sidebar, makes for a great thematic double feature with The Handmaiden).

Rini_P

My apologies for paraphrasing it. It was not to erase its origin but more to simply quickly reference without being too lengthy. Thank you for adding the additional context.

luvhannie325

In the 2019 Unveil Comeback show, Chan said Entrance was inspired by the movies Black Panther and Maze Runner

Harley Shanks

Love that you picked up on the panicky/anxious vibe to it. I've noticed that too. It def fits the theme of a maze, of being trapped in a maze, but then the lyrics are talking about how it was their choice to run into the maze. Very cool how it shows that while they did choose it, they're still running & they're scared, even if they seem confident about their choices.

Harley Shanks

Oh, I reccommend listening to any live Miroh recording. I hate that I can't recall the one I'm thinking of but there is a video of like 20,000 stays screaming "STRAY KIDS WOO" and it just hits so different

Eng선생님

Since y'all both like Felix so much, you might want to see this version, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUQPdoCsQjQ You may already know this, but the "dance" they perform is based on Haka. Chan is a big fan of the NZ All Blacks and has great respect for the Maori culture.

Eng선생님

This is only the 2nd time I've listened to Entrance, and the first was without the lyrics. I got chills because I realised something. After you listen to each of the Cle albums, listen to Entrance again. Entrance isn't just random words. It's a preview.

One thing about stray kids, is that they don't hold back. I remember the producer Kyle Reynolds, one of the producers for 'the sound', while he was doing a breakdown of 'the sound' track, he said that when it comes to production, in a lot of artists, there are production decisions that might seem too crazy. What he really likes about stray kids music is that a lot of it are crazy production choices which is really fun for him as a producer, and he tells his friends that it's like intrusive thoughts of production. But as what you have said, they do it in a perfectly balanced way. Love your reaction so much guys. Learning a lot of things from watching you as well.

Brit Bratt

SKZ won their 1st VMA.

Handsome Sausages

Oh man - totally get why you can't explain cuz we can't even IMAGINE. AND YES! Definitely revisit Paprika :D not as classically great as Perfect Blue imo, but it's an adventure for sure ! !!

Handsome Sausages

Yesssss and it's also the feeling of multiple ppl in the maze simultaneously and we're watching them all concurrently! Love the analogy :D

Handsome Sausages

Absolutely! Already with the 'beast', we assumed there would be way more to it! So excited to return to it after finishing the album!!

Handsome Sausages

Ohhh intrusive thoughts of production - LOVE that! Yes, you can totally hear the controlled chaos in SKZ music and we too love that energy - we always joke about how fun it'd be to work with SKZ for that reason!

Alessandra

Miroh was the first SKZ song I became obsessed with!!! I love how the song could be everywhere almost the time and that's exactly what drew me to them. Thank you for the reaction!!!! 🤩

Estelle S

1000%! I would have to say Entrance is one of my favorite tracks of theirs - and it's not even a whole song!! Totally agree they should make it one though - so so so good!!

Ron Jackson Jr

the title song is all the combine song into that track

Kitty2269

Better late than sorry i just watched that link and Omg it was awesome

Eng선생님

I’m obsessed with the way Felix looks in the opening. He’s absolutely stunning. But the first few times I watched it, the moment he pops up and gazes into the camera literally took my breath away. Each member of Stray Kids is so handsome/beautiful. As they mature and their self-confidence increases, they seem to become handsome/beautiful with each comeback.
