今回は、大分県竹田市にある赤川温泉へ♨️

赤川温泉は久住高原に沸く山奥の秘湯です。

赤川温泉の「赤川」という名称は、温泉によって川底が酸化して赤くなることから付けられたそうです。

そんな赤川温泉のお湯は、透き通るような青いコバルトブルー色。

久住山赤川谷奥10数箇所で自然湧出しています。

滝を目の前で眺められる絶景露天風呂は迫力満点！

The name "Akagawa" (meaning "red river" in Japanese) comes from the fact that the hot spring water oxidizes the bottom of the river and turns it red.

The hot water of Akagawa Onsen is a clear cobalt blue color.

The hot water gushes out naturally at more than 10 locations deep in the Akagawa valley of Mt.
