Fluttershy's pistol (Patreon)

Yesterday I posted Killer Butterfly and since then I've gotten a couple of inquiries concerning the pistol  that Fluttershy is holding in this picture. Here are some detail  drawings of it. The pistol doesn't use any form of gunpowder to propel  its projectiles. Instead it uses compressed gas. The spherical  projectiles are very much like the paintballs used in paintball sports.  Muzzle velocity is much slower than firearms and this weapon is meant to  be used at relatively short ranges, but the velocities have to be kept  relatively low to prevent rupturing projectiles which are filled with  Cockatrice venom.

    This was not a  general issue weapon, and was only used in very specialized roles by  ponies who were trained in the manual of arms. In particular operators  had to make certain to exercise great care to not rupture the venom  projectiles which was could be absorb through the skin. So many cases  gloves were worn to reduce this risk.
