Orc armor and weapon (Patreon)

More reference art for the large patron reward piece for Caerdwyn. I want to have one orc in the background as an antagonist. Unlike a lot of other D&D art I am drawing heavily from medieval history and warfare for inspiration in this piece. The orc's armor is heavily influenced by 11th century Byzantine. His sword is a falchion which has many of the same properties of the naval cutlass so popular in classic, swashbuckling pirate pictures
