 Princess Luna floated up to the cloud that Applebloom had planted her locator pennant in my Equestria dreamscape. The Defender of Dreams had sensed her pupil venturing out her own dream fabric and into the Dream Realm proper. Finding the locator pendant so close to Petina's own dream fabric and her student nowhere around the princess quickly connected the dots. What has been seen cannot be un-seen 

  Luna's initial instinct was to dive into the dream fabric to find her student and bring her back out, but then she paused. 

  No. No. Some lessons have to be learned the hard way, and they are often the lessons you remember the best.

 
  Soon her student exited Petina's dream fabric and Luna discovered the lesson Applebloom had learned that evening. Although its the not the one she'd expected.
