The irony is the only "solution" that is really practical across the board is the one thing that the people who should be the strongest supporters of are the most vehemently against: nuclear energy. If wind power was as cheap, reliable or safe as nuclear energy the world would be a very different place. It's one of the reasons why many people think those pushing this debate are just doing to cause as much damage as possible, not because they care about the environment: we *could* have our cake and eat it.

They started making Hummers again a few years ago but ironically enough they are all electric now. 1000 horsepower 5 ton monster of a vehicle with, most would say, no practical use whatsoever and a six figure price tag. Even though this is 20 years old President Bartlets line "the markets are doing what markets do, sorting itself out messily and with contradiction" still rings true today.

This episode is why I love Annabeth so much. She's sunshine and Toby is grumpy so really it's a perfect fit, lol.

One thing I can say about The West Wing... they always set up chess boards correctly. A pet peeve of mine is crew that doesn't take the time to get it right.

I know we all keep saying this, but I think you're both going to love where these stories are heading! You're so invested already, and the show doesn't disappoint.

Annabeth to Toby: you look like you loathe this Me: Unadulterated loathing?

God, remember Hummer limos? In DC, once someone calls the guy “Mr Lyman,” no one needs to be told he works at the White House. It took me a while to be sure because I’m used to seeing her in 2010s HD, but the wind lady is also a main on Lucifer. I’m used to thinking of her as tiny, but not as tiny as Kristin Chenoweth, who is 4’11”. And spectacular. She was so good on this, I’d forgotten. I’ve mostly seen her on stage/as a singer.

I do feel like the left is coming around on nuclear energy being a key piece of the decarbonization picture.

Daniel Lydford

The problem with nuclear is that it's very expensive, and the time needed to construct the plants so great that there isn't enough time to bring enough energy online to replace fossil fuels any time in the near future.

I looked her up. Rachel Harris. I've seen her in so many comic roles (including New Girl on the channel). Ms. Chenoweth is fantastic in this role.

Joe: "Good afternoon everybody" Kevin: "Good morning guys" Does the couch straddle 2 time zones? :p

Mordant: adjective: (especially of humor) having or showing a sharp or critical quality; biting. noun: a substance, typically an inorganic oxide, that combines with a dye or stain and thereby fixes it in a material. verb: impregnate or treat (a fabric) with a mordant. "mordanting a fiber is simple"

I love it haha. As an Australian it's nice to see that they're catering to everyone's timezone, lol.

The main things to remember... white on the right and queen on her color. When you sit down, the right corner for both players should be a white square... and the queen should be on her matching color.
