Oh yea don't know if you know this or not but Michelle Phifer (Hope's Mom) was also a character in one of the 90's Batman films ^^ Batman returns. I loved this movie its so fun and I love that they show superheroes can be any age or anyone like Scott is a father, hank is pretty much a grandpa who passed the torch and his daughter took up his' wife's hero name. Fun and heartfelt Marvel and DC know how to write stories

So in the comics Hank Pym is the original Antman who was one of the founding members of the Avengers alongside Wasp, Iron Man, Hulk, and Thor. But with the MCU he's still the original Antman just not connected to The Avengers as they were formed in 2012 not the 1960s like the comics. Hank Pym was also the one to design Ultron in the comic but of course in the MCU this was Tony Stark. Scott Lang origin and story in this is very similar to the comics from being a thief to stealing the Antman suit from Hank etc. From my understanding the writer of this film grew up on Scott Langs Antman which is why he is the main Antman of the MCU. They could've easily made Hank around the same age as characters like Tony and then introduce Scott down the line but I do really like how they made Hank a hero who was active since the 1970s along with Janet van Dyne and now he's a more mature character who is mentoring Scott. I would love to see more of Hanks years as Antman thought that would be really cool as he's one of my favourite characters, Hank and Janet are two of the main characters in the Earths Mightiest Hero show that uses the original Avengers line up.
