A legendary episode despite not introducing any major new characters, rather examining how the existing cast reacts to the apparent death of the title character. Supposedly Mark Hamill was somehow able to do that entire speech without needing any breaks, cementing his place as THE animated Joker. It's almost funny how Darwinist Gotham's underworld is, everyone trying to gain street cred by taking down 'the guy who offed the bat'.
