Most of you will have probably seen Czepeku Scenes and Czepeku Tokens by now. They're two sister projects to our Fantasy Maps. The three projects are designed to work together.

We're looking into creating similar projects to accompany Czepeku Sci-Fi, by bringing you sci-fi tokens (aliens, marines, scientists, robots, etc.) and immersive scenes of our sci-fi maps.

Each new project we start needs to have enough support for us to be able to launch it, as it's a significant amount of work creating all of the art.

So please let us know what you think in the poll and the comments! The poll is multiple choice, so if you want both Scenes and Tokens, click both!

There's also an 'Other' option in case you have some great idea for us. :)

Brandon Hinds

I'd love a sci-fi scenes project. I have used the current scenes protect to great effect during my Odyssey of the Dragon Lord's campaign, and am looking to start a space campaign within the next 12 months.

Lekii

With starfinder 2e on the horizon, I'd love to have alternatives for scifi tokens even if it's only aliens. Paizo seems to be pushing for selliing their art assets for foundry vtt but supporting you guys for cool stuff would be cool too

dabinski

I make all my own tokens to make sure they have a uniform feel, so i never use tokens from packs. Your scenes are gorgeous, but alas it's more difficult to slot specific ones into a campaign than battlemaps. What I need is character art, sans the token.

Masta

I am actually looking for some good sci-fi scenes for an alien themed rpg, so I'm waiting for your sci-fi scenes 🛐🛐🛐

Isobel Daniella Meskew

Its your Ships that brought me here and I'm dying for more!

BlattMeister

More Mechs with internal deckplans, bigger ones, smaller ones, all shapes and types

Murder Hobo Show

If you guys get the bug... Not many people doing sci Fi paper miniatures

Capri Cantus

Czepeku Modern would go so hard

Nathaniel Kreiman

Would *love* scenes with transparencies to put over them that make it look like you're seeing them out of a command deck or cockpit

Jamonster66

My interests are twofold...Cthulhu/old horror film type settings (Chill specifically) and superhero (which modern can work just fine).

Acatalepsy

I use Retrograde minis (+commissions from the Retrograde community) for tokens to have a consistent look; I wouldn't use tokens.

Acatalepsy

Scenes I might have a use for, but it really, really depends on the specifics, and I can usually find scenes that are easy to modify or crop or give the vibe without needing specific visual details.

Acatalepsy

The other thing I'd love to see is more regional or overland science fiction maps. City maps, regional planetary maps, those I have a hell of a time finding for science fiction. It's niche but it's also a niche no else has filled so maybe?

Ramon Castillo

I need so many more Cyberpunk maps. And modular ship maps would be awesome. I don't know if there is a huge need for tokens, because most people I know just use token tool for their sci-fi games.

Hyperdrive Fleet

What cyberpunk maps would you like to see? We have the community discord where we're often asking for suggestions. We get lots for the fantasy maps but very few for sci-fi.

Hyperdrive Fleet

That's an interesting idea. We could definitely look into that. We had some ideas for modular large scale city maps.

Hyperdrive Fleet

What sort of maps would work for the Cthulhu/old horror? I guess superhero is anything realistic/modern?

Hyperdrive Fleet

Real miniatures either paper or metal/plastic is just way beyond our abilities. Getting into the physical realm requires a lot more work unfortunately.

Hyperdrive Fleet

The issue we've found with mechs before is that there's just so many different styles. Star Wars, LANCER, Evangelion, Gundam, Metal Gear, etc. those are off the top of my head and all look so different from one another.

Lekii

As paizo will be having pathfinder 2e ancestries (races) compatible with starfinder 2e, is not really about the creature or humanoid depicted, it's more about what's wearing or some details. I think what would make a tokens scifi would be robots, cyborgs, alien creatures, or anything holographic would be good. Having random humanoids just using more clean uniforms or scifi armor may be all I'd need. Or even just token rings to reskin simple creatures as kobolds would make for good assets

Jamonster66

It could be. There's a great deal more to Cthulhu and old mansions for example. There's scenarios set on old cruise ships, dirigibles, altars, newspaper and media buildings, PI offices, hospitals, universities, precincts, schools, universities, basements, churches and more and that is just the 1920's setting. Superhero VTT maps needs not just modern maps. If you look at the various settings of characters bases and homes as well as story arcs. The Fantastic Four's base is the top stories of a modern downtown office type building. Batman works out of a fancy cave. Superman work's out of his apartment or The Daily Planet. Doctor Doom plots and schemes from a renovated castle. Doctor Strange works out of a classic old house in Soho while DC's Dr Fate lives in a tower with no windows or doors in another dimension. Daredevil works out of a cheap law office in a run down building in Hell's Kitchen. The Inhumans are based on the Moon. There can be torn up battlegrounds in buildings, streets, in the woods or in another dimension. I have been working on a campaign for quite some time and I need maps for a supermax prison, a house that looks normal on the outside and is ten times bigger with doors that lead to other dimensions or eras. I have a character that lives deep in the hills and keeps a couple of animated corpses around for company. I have an older couple living in a modest home in the suburbs that has a mother-in-law suite. And that doesn't even touch the low tech converted warehouse that has a secret villains lair that they are unaware of under it. I think Cthulhu maps have a great deal of potential and variety looking at the books and the available material. Superhero maps are in that same category imo. The potential is only limited by one's imagination. Chill is an older game that was loosely based on the old Universal and Hammer monster films. I feel like there's a lot of games that are out now playing in that same supernatural sandbox. The Triangle Agency, Supernatural, Vaesen, Monster of the Week, Kids on Bikes, Secret World, Delta Green, World of Darkness... Have you seen the YouTube vid where the host recommends playing the Vampire aspects of the game more like the Godfather than a goth power fantasy? Anyway, I should go to bed. Thanks for coming to my rant. G'night and keep up the great work.

Masta

Right now I'm looking for something I could use in Alchemy while narrating the intro, like your Alien Mothership map. But in general I would like scenes like science investigation buildings or plains where futuristic military force is patrolling

Capri Cantus

replying to this so late :( but I think a city center or like a hub area street with local shops would be cool
