So, as I'm sure most of you have probably gathered by now, while I was in the middle of trying to finish 6.1 this weekend, there was a sudden change of plans. Nothing bad, I assure you, but I decided that it would be a good idea to add an extra interlude before 6.1, an unofficial bonus interlude, to show what the three girls got up to during the two days between Friday evening and Sunday night.

On top of that, my editor has had a crippling attack of Real Life Problems, so the time he has available to assist me and go over the chapters is much more limited, and I have no idea when things will be back to normal for him.

What this means for you Patreon guys is that I'll be finishing both the new interlude and 6.1 this week and releasing them simultaneously this weekend, Saturday May 26th.

Until then, feel free to theorize what new Heroic Spirit is gonna show up in this new interlude, although you won't get any points for it because I think I've already given it away.

So... can we expect the chapter today? Or is the delay going to last longer? (I'm not being accusing, though I think I sound like it. I really just want to know so that I can structure my day accordingly; a new chapter release can screw up some pretty careful planning :D)

Finally, a moment to respond... Truth is, I desperately wanted to, but things kicked up unexpectedly in the middle of last week. My sister is visiting from out of state for a week and a half, there were party preparations to be made for the family Memorial Day get-together, Dark Souls Remastered came out (of all the things to inherit from Nasu, a love of Dark Souls is one I definitely could have done without), and most importantly, my editor (who had been MIA) contacted me to let me know that he's going through some tough times, right now, and won't be on very often while he tries to get them handled. All of that combined means that both chapters are sitting, half-finished, but the biggest challenge has been my missing editor, who I usually bounce ideas off of or ask about parts I'm not confident in. Since this is the arc I want absolutely PERFECT, his absence is felt all the more keenly here than it normally would be.
