A cumulative Noble Phantasm. A combined strike that gathers power over time and unleashes it in a single, devastating blow.

Derived from the legend of his holding action during Gaius Julius Caesar’s war with Pompey, this is a Noble Phantasm that grows more powerful the longer it is kept in reserve. The longer Scaeva can hold out in a battle, the more powerful this Noble Phantasm becomes.

The key attribute of this Noble Phantasm is time. The counter begins at the start of battle and continues to accumulate strength and magical energy as long as the battle continues, and then, when this Noble Phantasm’s true name is invoked, the gathered power is unleashed all at once, delivering a fatal blow to the enemy with his sword.

Naturally, there is a limit. Scaeva cannot continue to stockpile power indefinitely, and if it is not used before the conclusion of the battle, then it will dissipate at the battle’s conclusion and go to waste. However, conversely, it is also possible to stretch out the activation over the course of several swings rather than just one, at the cost of reducing the strength behind each in proportion with how many swings are used.
