Lots of talking this chapter. Lots and lots and lots of talking. There are actually a few things I didn't want to give away just yet, but I couldn't see any way of leaving them out of the chapter, so they got in.

Some of the mysteries set out in this chapter may or may not be obvious. Your mileage on that may vary. Having said that, there are a few things I'm keeping close to the vest and they'll be big surprises when I pull the sheet off. At least one or two of them may, in fact, be shown in an upcoming interlude, not next chapter but the chapter after it.

For now, we're in the final third of Septem. Squarely. I'm not going to put a number on how many chapters are left, but we're rapidly approaching the end of this arc.

EDIT: Down all the way.

Now we get to see Taylor's lateral thinking coming to the fore. It does make me wonder from a purely technical perspective though. In the game as far as I am aware, the singularities still exist even after being resolved. Even if they won't be, would they still be revisitable in your story? Or is it more a case of singularity done, all gone. Pursuant to that, and not being nitpicky but...how exactly does sending materials from the past to the future not violate the laws of physics, given it would be essentially creating matter from nothing since the source reverts. Or is it more a case of MHXA and I shouldn't think but feel? :D Also out of interest, will we see more future servants appear? IE, like Bradamante in Orleans. Future as in servants released well after their base singularity. And still going on like a broken record...do you have any plans for Craft Essences to factor in? I know it can be difficult as hell given in-game you really only get them from whaling.

Right, so, I completely forgot to address this last week. I'm honestly not too sure how the Singularities are meant to work in canon. The way it's described, they're supposed to disappear after they're resolved, was my understanding, but the cast visits them for different Servants' interludes technically after the Singularity they visit has already been handled, so I'm not positive one way or the other. As for sending materials "into the past," it's mentioned (or at least implied) when the topic of Emiya staying behind is discussed, and before that at the end of Orleans when the team accidentally leaves their supplies on the road when they Rayshift back to Chaldea: anything that shouldn't be there in the Singularity will be "corrected" and removed by the Counter Force when things go back to normal. But largely, yes, you're not supposed to think too hard about it. Nasuverse *is* still a fantasy setting, so violating the laws of physics only matters when Nasu wants it to matter. Future Servants, I think I already sort of answered that in-story. Remember that we see Saber Lancelot earlier in Septem? Yeah. I'm not going to be shy about introducing later characters earlier than their canon appearance. Craft Essences are weird. Their actual name (in Japanese) translates to something like, "Conceptual Formal Wear." I don't have any plans to bring them in at this point, although it might be a thing later on as the situation evolves and Da Vinci is pulled in fewer directions.

Well, one of the Sorceries could have an answer. Denial of Nothingness. As for CE's...why not go with Taylor's burgeoning runes and go with Runic Charms or something to that effect? We know she isn't good enough for a permanent enhancement but a one-off runic charm that an ally can use like her Anfang could substitute for the gacha craft essences.
