Seeker of Fortune [Skill]

A skill related to such things as Collector and Golden Rule. It is a talent to feel out the optimal path that will lead the user to “fortune,” an ability to intuit “opportunity” and where it might be found, even across large distances. It is a skill belonging to those who set out to acquire wealth and glory, but who, through whatever circumstances, could not lay their hands on either.

Different from a skill like Golden Rule, success is not guaranteed and victory is not assured. Because it is only possible to sense “opportunity,” it remains in the hands of the user to achieve either, and it is that which truly separates this skill from others like it. The user himself must take that opportunity and turn “possibility” into “reality.”

Needless to say, this is not the skill of a man who had the fortune to achieve great wealth, nor is it the skill of a king who collected all the treasures of the world. For those who found such success, a skill like this is meaningless.

Out there, in the distance, there exists a wonderful treasure. Those bold and daring enough to risk everything, they might seize that treasure with their own two hands and lay claim to it. It is possible for a man to change his fate.
