Davy Jones’ Locker [Noble Phantasm]
Abyss Beneath the Ocean Deep

Purgatory of the drowned. Resting place of shipwrecks. The mysterious seabed, where everything that sinks must eventually end up.

The origin of the term is unclear, only that it became a well-established belief among sailors, pirates, and privateers. “If your ship sinks and you drown in the deep, then the deep will take your soul and you will be bound within Davy Jones’ Locker.” Such was the common sentiment of those who sailed the seas and crossed the vast, deep oceans.

Appropriately, this Noble Phantasm acts as a repository, a kind of twisted treasure vault. Anything and everything that falls beneath the waves and sinks to the bottom of the ocean comes into possession of “Davy Jones,” stored in his Locker. Everything, whether it is a ship or a great treasure or the souls of the restless dead.

Fittingly, therefore, anything which exists in the Locker is something which Davy Jones may make use of. Even if it is the Noble Phantasm of another Heroic Spirit, if it was something which was lost at sea, then it is something which he may own.

Naturally, of course, only things which were lost at sea. If it is not something that was acknowledged as “sunk in the ocean,” then it is outside his purview.

What if Davy Jones' locker is like a version of the Moon Cell but for Alayah or whatever it is.
