I'm thinking of launching a binge series where I sit through and binge a season or half a season (totally depending on episode amount) in one sitting.

If you decide "Cartoon" I would highly recommend you check out "Young Justice", * other reactors that had picked up that cartoon include but not limited to, (YaboyRoshi, TheNormies, RTTV, Blindwave, and many others.) -It was first started as a show for cartoon network till it moved to adult HBO MAX show, and the series does not have filler like regular cartoons. It Is best described as, if DC had a connected universe just like marvel. The show connects comic stories and introduces characters in a well contained story.

If you decide "Anime" I would highly recommend you check out a short 12 episode anime called "Madoka Magica", * other reactors that had picked up that anime include but not limited to, (YaboyRoshi, ReAnimated, Scoot, Danny motta, Auto save, and others.) - It may seem like your typical cute sailor moon magical girl anime, but this anime takes that genre and turns it into a serious dark and twisted tone from the get-go. The show has an amazing story to tell, with a philosophical questions to answer. The costume designs went to inspire games like dress to impress, and action sequences that leaves you speechless on who to route for, I highly recommend the DUB version since the voice acting is top tier.

There are a lot of anime that might work for this. Most are 12 episodes , there are a lot of rom-com, or pretty much any other genre you can think of as well.

Technically, you can find both cartoons and anime on Disney+ and Netflix, unless you're thinking series that are only shown exclusively on those platforms. I recommend Blue eyed Samurai from Netflix and Marvel's What if... from Disney+ :)

For the cartoon, I'm definitely thinking Scooby doo Mystery Inc. Or Shera and the Princesses of Power, both are on Netflix.

Netflix - Interview With The Vampire Anime - Carole and Tuesday ( this is also on Netflix ) it’s about two girls who meet in a futuristic mars and form a singing duet and we follow their rise to fame. A lot of current pop culture references and made by the same man who made cowboy bebop and set in the same universe. If you do watch, watch it in the original English dub because this anime and all its music were originally made in English. Plus one of the leads is a black girl (Carol)

we've been doing a lot of cartoons, not saying i hate it i actually love it but it's good to try something new like netflix.

Love seeing all the Total Drama recommendations, I think it would be a perfect series for you to watch! It's also highly binge-able, as someone who does an annual binge rewatch of the show lol. (totally not biased because it's my favorite cartoon)

I'd assume that after you finish Steven Universe, you'd watch the movie first and then Steven Universe: Future since you'd technically not be done with the show's full content after the ending of the original show, so it'd be nice if you binge some of Future, there's 20 episodes there so half would be a good amount for that.

For cartoon you should definitely watch Bob's Burgers! It's a funny show with sentimental moments
