Regarding Distro Delves episodes (Patreon)

I got the feeling from this community post that people think feature episodes have been replaced by Live Streams and that isn't necessarily the case.

I thought I had explained what I was up to but in retrospect, I don't think I've explained or really announced anything at all... Whoops!

To be honest, I am a little burned out. I put a lot of effort into YouTube this year and it has not paid off. And my latest coding video (that people had been asking about for literally months) flopped pretty hard.

I'm incredibly fortunate and thankful that I have you guys as well as the regulars in Discord and the live streams. I can't thank you all enough for your support!

Anyway - Distro Delves episodes. It's been difficult to find time during the workweek to write new episodes. I was sick last week and it through my sleeping schedule out of wack.

I've wanted to use Live Stream footage for episodes but none of the distros we've seen on live streams have been high enough quality for a feature episode. I mean, look how bad Argon bombed. 😂

I wrote a script for InstantOS right after the Distro Delves stream but decided against producing a video because I really shouldn't make feature episodes on beta distros. It features the distro in a poor light and the video ages out as soon as a new ISO is released.

And lastly - we're between Season 2 & 3 right now. I planned for a finale episode but now that I have a suit in the works, I'm going to save it for when Egee can actually appear on camera.

Sorry for any confusion! Everyone really loves Distro Delves and I promise it is here to stay!
